Always a pleasant meal!! Some of the best Italian in town. Love the cheese shells and anti pasta platter. Have been here for formal events and just dinners with the family, always delicious and fun. Somewhat expensive, but well worth it.
This is a nice place - good energy. Great in the summer with the baseball games. Their meatball with polenta cake is yummy. BUT...we sat at the bar this time. The bartender was GROUCHY. Didn't smile once. Didn't seem to want us there. He was very unhappy. We almost left - it was uncomfortable. Paterno's please tell your bartender to SMILE & at least pretend to be happy to have customers!!!

Food was pretty good....little pricy but all in all pretty good. I had some sort of pasta with shrimp and truffle sauce. The pasta was cooked very well, the shrimp want chewy or rubbery and the sauce was well balanced. If i had to make a complaint it would be that the sauce had more of a standard mushroom flavor than a truffle flavor.
