The taste of the food is not as per the menu description.I took packing. The rice in parcel was surely stocked rice and not cooked on sameday and was smelling as sour & rotten.I ordered Sahi Paneer Kurma but it was tasting like paneer in Curd with orange colour .Very very odd Taste. If I would stay in Charleston, I would go to the restaurant again and return the item and ask for cash back.

On the way to our destination, we stopped at Charleston, When we searched Indian restarents near me found Sitar. Its was awesome experiance.Food was very good , ambience is very good. Mr. Gurpreetsingh Gopi was avaible during our visit and welcomed us in excellent way. Understands customers preferece suits what suits them and whats not. Usaully you will nevel get such a great gesture from Business man.Want to experiance best , Visit Sitar. May be delivery may not get nice feel , Its such nice people over there.Regarding parking if you found a spot can keep car near parked vehicles, and there is minimal PAID parking exctly oppsite to sitar which gives effortless vibe.Parking: Exact oppsite there is paid parking spots avaible , Convinient

In response to Sitar's post: You're right, I ordered takeout and I left the same review on the DoorDash app with photos. I was not in the restaurant and based on the horrible food you gave me, I never will be. I've eaten Indian food all over the world and this was the worst. You should be ashamed to send that out the door. Basing your high ranking reviews on people who've likely never eaten Indian food outside this little city isn't saying much. I could've set fire to the $40 I spent and had a better experience. You continue to use this "we cook Punjabi" food excuse but ther fact is, your food is awful no matter what type of Indian you're claiming. This was by far the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. Garlic naan was just oil and a few pieces of minced garlic from a jar. The chicken tikka masala tasted like chicken in tomato paste with no seasoning or spices at all and the samosa was so oily they were a soggy mess. I can only assume that people rating this place highly have just never experienced decent Indian food because this isn't it.
Beautifully decorated, great service and delicious food. Portions were good and lots of options to choose from. Open for dinner so we had to wait until after 4 but worth the wait. For sure watch the spice level if you are not wanting too spicy we got medium and it was spicy, I don't think we would go any higher. Would recommend and visit anytime we are in town.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes on menu.
This place is a hidden gem - definitely worth a visit! Come here for authentic Indian food, delicious flavors, very friendly service, and a great ambiance. There's a ton of options to suit anyone's preference. Don't worry if you don't like spicy food, they can make things not spicy for you.
