Visited after a day of skiing but quickly realized you have to show up earlier. Group of us walked in around 7:20 (they close at 9) and were told right away “We only have wings and pulled pork and running low on some sides”, was kind of a bummer but we stuck around and ordered wings and pulled pork along with Mac-n-cheese and fries. The wings were really big and tasted great but the sauce is on the side, the pulled pork was also good. Mac-n-cheese was ok, was a lot like KFC and fries were just normal fries, nothing good or bad. Most disappointing part was the service. Has an open kitchen and could see the frustration from the cook preparing orders, the food runner wasn’t the most inviting either. Seemed like most the staff(not all) were just annoyed. Lastly, the sauces were “meh”, just wasn’t the traditional style BBQ sauces but may be good to other. Overall I’d go back again but would def go earlier and hope some of the staff was in a better mood.
Second visit here. Grabbed take out for family. Was pleasantly surprised how good it was considering out last visit was memorable. I would recommend the brisket. The only negative was slow service. The web ordering didn't work and didn't get thru on phone, so walked in. Line was long and we had to order at bar, biggest problem was person talking order was serving bar and also taking call in orders, which was a little annoying. I know covid changed the world and some places deal with staffing shortages. But you need to give attention to a dozen plus people in front of you before picking up that phone. I would still go back again.
Really good barbecue in a cool part of West VA. We got the sample platter for three of us and had heaps of leftovers. Enough for 5 or 6 I reckon. Chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs were all standout. Decent cocktails at the bar also with a local twist.

This is the perfect BBQ place with different food options and gluten-free as well. Their BBQ is very good and have great beer options. We were skiing at Canaan Valley and found this nearby. With wagon wheel chandeliers and whiskey barrel pendant lighting above the bar, it perfectly fit the bill!Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate gluten-free.Kid-friendliness: We had four children with us and thus worked out perfectly.
Great pork bbq and good selection of sides including fries, green beans, baked beans etc. Excellent side salad that my wife was really happy with. We highly recommend this place!

This place is awesome. My wife and I ordered the sample platter, and it was more than enough for both of us. The staff is really nice and the owner is super friendly! I would definitely go back. I want to try the wings!

I’ve eaten here twice, including a week ago. The food is pretty good although it’s a little inconsistent. I liked the brisket a lot but the ribs were a little tough. Side dishes were good but they need a new barbecue sauce. I I like most barbecue sauces but I thought theirs was lousy. They have a full bar including some local craft beers on tap (Stumptown and Mountain State). The food came out quickly and the woman bartender who waited on us was very good. Plenty of parking. It’s not my favorite restaurant in the area but I’ll keep it in the rotation.

Look over the menu, place your order, and have a seat. Food is delicious. We will definitely be
By far one of our favorite places. The food is excellent. I’ve had and enjoyed almost everything on the menu. By far my favorite is the pulled-pork sandwich and the brisket. The wings are next-level. The homemade potato salad is the perfect accompaniment. Service is prompt and friendly. The place feels like home. Highly recommend.
