Not opening until 5pm on a weekend with a resort full of people is utterly ridiculous.

Was pretty disappointed with my visit here. I payed for a pizza and mozzarella sticks. I gave the server 2 $20 bills, and tipped her $10, and got back some change. I was told it would take about 20 minutes to cook so I took a stroll and came back. I waited about 30 minutes total and was told the kitchen “lost” my order. They remade the food and brought out a pizza. I asked about the mozzarella sticks and I was told by the server that she didn’t ring it up. So Im thinking, why was my order $30?! My pizza also had peppers on it, when I only ordered pepperoni.
We came here because they weren't ready to seat people for the 4 pm Thanksgiving seating. Nice lounge and the ladies working were quite pleasant and accommodating. Small but decent bourbon offerings. If I remember correctly their top shelf was Whistle Pig. Had a small tap selection of local craft offerings. Multiple TVs. Great views and we saw multiple deer from the picturesque windows.

Stopped in for some beer and ice cream, don’t judge! Kearsten was our server and she was wonderful, friendly and a real pleasure.I didn’t have any food therefore I couldn’t fully rate the restaurant but wanted to give a shout out to Kearsten who was really working her butt off.If I visit again and order food, I will update the review.

The Lauren Lounge is great. The people who work there are really friendly and will make your stay very enjoyable. They have a great selection of beers on tap. I wish that I had discovered this place earlier because I would have had dinner there the whole time I was there.
I was in town for a quick ski trip and our dinner options were limited on a Tuesday night and a lot of places are closed. We ended up at the laurel lounge and ordered a pizza. It came out as thin crust and tastes pretty good, however neither my daughter or myself felt great the next morning. Don't want to completely blame the puzzle but good chance as it was pretty greasy. Next time we'll prob try mama mias
Sat at the bar for over 15 minutes. Never had anyone take our order. Completely and purposely ignored by both bar tenders. Patrons on both sides of us were offered a second beverage. Had to leave before any acknowledgement of existence
For bar food at a resort, it was pretty good. Beers were local which I really liked. The burger was fresh and very tasty. The fries were good as well, as well as the soft pretzel. The cheese dip sauce was fresh.

3.5 stars. We were staying at the Lodge and wandered in here. Pub food, good local ales and fast service, despite being busy. We enjoyed the pretzel sticks with beer cheese.
Location was convenient and no wait to get in, but spent over 2 hours here for dinner. Very limited menu with some steep prices, $7 for a side salad. Server was nice, but she seemed to be working the entire place. Food was ok, but definitely not worth the wait.
Well went in and waited for service never got any asked a passing waitress for water that never came then walked up and set at bar and was ignored I spoke up to order a drink and food and was told they only served pizza at this time. 2 mins later guy walks up to bar and orders wings right beside me. Very disappointed because seems like a nice place very poor management and lake of skill among the employees.
Stayed at the lodge for 2 nights. Went here on the first night. The food was good and the service was “ok”. Pizza was really good. Due to getting back later on the second night we went back because it was convenient. Still not busy. However the food and service were much different. Ribs well over cooked. Worst service we had ever had. After the waitress took our order, never saw her again. Food was brought by the kitchen staff. Had to get our own ketchup, ranch dressing, and to go box. Like many others, finally had to go to the bar to pay the bill. If you want to try this place, consider take out so you avoid a horrible service experience.
Cozy bar at the Canaan Valley Resort, with friendly bartenders and solid pub food - burgers, pizza, wings, etc. The pizza is especially good - the crust is better than Sirianni's up the road (pro tip: get the Supreme pizza). Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Canaan Valley and you don't want to drive to Davis.
