This restaurant is the best in the area! The beef brisket was so tender and juicy. They also had a lot menu choices for kids. The mozzarella sticks were amazingly cheesy and gave me a long cheese pull. The service was excellent as well! Not to mention there’s a breathtaking view of the mountain right behind the restaurant/lodge. Great place to eat if you’re in the area!
Got the Smokehouse burger and fries. Perfect. Fries were battered and crispy and hot. Half pound burger with a great bun. The next night I got the crab dip, which was exquisite and really a portion for two, and the pot roast with seriously rich gravy. Huge tender asparagus. Prices were competitive with any outside restaurant, but cheap for a state park vendor.
The place may not be known well...service was great, my pulled pork sandwich was BIG. My friend had macaroni and cheese...best they ever had. Everything was great. John did a great job.
