What a nice spot for a cocktail! We stopped on Saturday while passing through the area and had a few drinks. Each cocktail was very well put together, and they were able to accommodate alterations when we asked. The bartenders were fantastic. They were very friendly and knew their jobs well. It was really a pleasure to spend time here
My husband and I dropped our grandkids off at Camp Leon Catholic Church camp on Fathers Day Sunday and we decided to spend the night in nearby Elkins, WV. So we googled high end boutique hotels and found our way to the Tygart Hotel. This little gem is actually way bigger than you can imagine. A completely renovated 100 plus year old hotel looks like a 21C hotel. We arrived later in the evening where we met the bartender/manager Zach, by accident just exploring ... he was cleaning...

We each had an entree and one beer, and we split a salad, and the total bill with tip came to $127. At that price I expect spectacular. It wasn't bad, but definitely not spectacular.
We split the salad with the strawberries and walnuts, which was quite good, although I did notice one yucky looking strawberry...
