“This place is an amazing treasure with friendly workers. We arrived at the hotel across the street on a rainy night and didn't want to go far. The restaurant next to the hotel got mediocre reviews so we decided to try Barone Brothers which got excellent reviews. Wow. The Great reviews couldn't have prepared us for the amazing toasted Italian sub my husband ordered. The meats were hearty deli slices. The sandwich was cooked to perfection. I ordered a Greek salad. The salad was nice and cold. The mix of veggies was perfection. The dressing was good. Maybe more Italian inspired but it was a perfect compliment to the salad. We would stop off the interstate again specifically to go to this charming little place. It's not fancy. They appear to do mostly a takeout business, but they do have seating. We arrived close to closing time, and were not rushed or made to feel like an imposition at all. They treated us like we were right on time. So friendly..“

“PG is in our top 5 pizzas in the Kanawha valley. Awesome crust, great sauce flavor, generous toppings, including the little “pepperoni cups.” The cauliflower crust is excellent - and made in house. We’ve never gotten the pasta or other items. It’s best for take out or eating outside in warm weather. The indoor areas are not comfy and the stairs are steep. But the pizza is GOOOOOOOD.Dietary restrictions: The cauliflower crust for gluten-sensitive folks and no-carb diets is very good.“
