“Newly relocated to the back woods of WV. Kids love "Chinese" food, so I had to find a place. Quickly! Saw this place in Elkview, and my heart sank. "This is gonna be terrible," I thought. SURPRISE! The food was FRESH! The food was DELICIOUS! Just ordered again, for the 32nd time in three years.”
“I was at Curry funeral home today for my father's arrangements, and they were so polite, and helped me threw everything!! They made the worst time of my life alot better!! I highly recommend them!!! I truly appreciate them helping me threw this awful time!!”

“My family stopped by on our way home from camping, so we decided to go through the drive-thru. As our order was being made, one of the employees handed my husband a small cup of plain ice cream because she saw our dog in the car. She smiled and spoke to our dog, told him to enjoy. Then she handed our order out the window with a smile. I'm very pleased with the service that we received, only wish we lived closer to visit more often. Thanks again Elkview DQ, you rock.”

“Everything is always delicious. The salsa was better before they changed it, when they changed over to the new branding. But other than that everything is good. The birria tacos are a new favorite.”

“We went out of our way a little to see Elkview again and get them biscuits. This was only our second visit but we will be back. Wish there were more further north. We looked on the way home but no luck. Someone needs to open one on the 81 corridor.”

“Thanks for being patient, and the food was great”
“Quick lunch at Sam's Hot Dogs (located in the Exxon) in Elkview. The hotdogs with spicy chili are pretty good. I will say this (and I think it applies to all Sams locations) the spicy chili isn't spicy but has better flavor than the reg chili. Bun was soft and the coleslaw nice a creamy; onions chopped super fine. The cheese fries could have been fried just a tad longer but that's probably just a personal preference. Overall not a bad hotdog. Service was quick, and there are a couple tables if you want to eat inside the gas station. We ordered 3 hotdogs and the fries for $13; not a bad value.”

“I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was one of the best I've had in a LONG time. The onion rings had a good taste but needed another minute or two in the oil.
Can't wait to get back here again.”

“Perfectly passable pizza. Nothing really outstanding aside from the local origin of the chain. I do enjoy the dim and dated interior, though many won't. It's rather roomy, too, and people hardly order dine-in here, so you'll have no trouble finding a seat.
Vegetarian options: There are no vegetarian options aside from the saladz or a veggie pizza.
Dietary restrictions: They now offer a gluten-free cauliflower crust, if that's what you're into. It is smaller and more expensive than a standard crust, though.
Parking: Plenty of open lots as it is part of a strip mall.
Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp is available, as well as disabled parking.”

“Visited from va. Stopped here for quick lunch. Staff was awesome and chatted with us recommending some places nearby. Very attentive to costumers needs, gave more sauce to assure we had some before leaving. Decided to dine in because the seating was extremely pleasant. Very clean and wonderful little seats with flower vases. Gosh, I think this was the best mcdonalds I have ever been to. Not to mention the basket of fries on the menu and various items that aren’t an option where I am from. Plus the staff offered us free pies after our meal. 100000/10”
“Our food was just right and we had a good experience. I want to commend Subway workers who were VERY PATIENT with some customers who required a good bit of patience. I was quite impressed with Amber, Lynn, Briana, and Dakota. They were patient, kind, and professional.”

“Over the past few years, East End Pub has become a regular destination that my group has included in our roster of go-to lunch spots. EEP makes an incredibly good Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich that, IMHO, cannot be beaten. I have taken over a dozen friends and family members with me to lunch and every one of them have become regular customers of EEP. Their egg rolls are delicious and always in demand, and I have yet to encounter a menu item that disappointed. It is a small space with limited parking in its front lot, but there is ample parking along Washington Street or on East Avenue. Susan, who tends the bar, and Kendall who waits tables are always a pleasure to see and they take good care of their customers. As word has spread through town, EEP has gotten more popular and crowded, but that’s what good food will do. We have taken to arriving early to beat the lunch rush. My group of friends have ordered everything from EEP’s burgers, to hot dogs, to East End Egg Rolls to half a garden salad with a (seasoned or not) chicken breast on top, to the Rueben and to my favorite, the chicken bacon Swiss sandwich, to the breakfast platter and everything in between, and all the food has been delicious! They definitely have some of the best French fries in town! While it’s a small establishment, it’s a great size for a local neighborhood pub and a great place for lunch or dinner, or just a few drinks at the bar. They have specials for lunch that regularly change and are written on a chalkboard on the wall as you go through the front door. You seat yourself upon entering; one does not need to wait to be seated. It also has a great location at the corner of Washington Street and East Avenue which is at the foot of north side of the 35th and 36th Street bridges to Kanawha City. Overall I’d rate East End Pub at 9 stars out of 10 due to its excellent food, great service and pleasant atmosphere - and those awesome French fries!! If you want a casual tasty meal, some drinks or beers, or all of the above, East End Pub is an excellent option!”

“My wife and I stopped in because someone recommended the place to us...and we left full and very satisfied. The salad may well have one of the best either of us had ever eaten (our original plan was to eat half and take the other half home for later - but we couldn't stop eating it!). She had the Mediterranean pizza and I had the Supreme. Both were absolutely delicious. On top of the awesome food, the price was very reasonable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back...many many times, I am sure.”

“We came all the way from Michigan and knew we had to try the famous pepperoni roll before we left. James the store owner was one of the kindest friendliest people we’ve met. They didn’t originally have pepperoni rolls, but he made them anyway, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the full experience. The only thing better than the customer service was the food. The pepperoni rolls were AMAZING. Already planning my next trip down here!”

“First time in this building since it was Suzi's. I'm very impressed I must say. The quesadilla was amazing. The tacos I got were beef and the flavor was excellent. We also ordered Cheese dip for the chips and it was some of the best I've had. The salsa was great too. We had our food faster than we ever had at any other Mexican restaurant and the service was great.”

“Awesome little dive rock bar with great, friendly and attentive service and cold drinks. I saw local band Hurl Brickbat who were outstanding and a lot of fun to watch. I really enjoyed myself. As is the case with many little dive bars, the craft beer selection is sparse, however all expected classic drink are available at an affordable price. I think I remember seeing food being available but I wasn't hungry so can't report on that.”
