“This place is an amazing treasure with friendly workers. We arrived at the hotel across the street on a rainy night and didn't want to go far. The restaurant next to the hotel got mediocre reviews so we decided to try Barone Brothers which got excellent reviews. Wow. The Great reviews couldn't have prepared us for the amazing toasted Italian sub my husband ordered. The meats were hearty deli slices. The sandwich was cooked to perfection. I ordered a Greek salad. The salad was nice and cold. The mix of veggies was perfection. The dressing was good. Maybe more Italian inspired but it was a perfect compliment to the salad. We would stop off the interstate again specifically to go to this charming little place. It's not fancy. They appear to do mostly a takeout business, but they do have seating. We arrived close to closing time, and were not rushed or made to feel like an imposition at all. They treated us like we were right on time. So friendly..“
“I’m giving this all five stars because from all I can tell this is the best Pizza in Charleston, WV. Not the best I ever - but compared to other cities it’s a 4/5. The service there is great. I got the steak pizza and my friend got one but I forgot which. The horseradish was a bit hinted which was nice because I’m not super into horseradish but I can appreciate what they did with the pizza. They also gave a great selection of beers! If I go back to town I’d come here again.“
