Dark and Dusty Rec Rider's Taphouse

Went here on a whim when we were visiting from out of town. The only seating available was at the bar which is fine, but the bartender seemed like she hated her job. We ordered ONE sandwich and it never came. We watched the cook make pizza after pizza and pickup after pickup, but never put in our single sandwich. When the bartender finally came back after 15 minutes, we asked to close the tab and she handed us the receipt with the sandwich still on it. We asked her to take it off since we waited 30+ minutes and never got it, and the manager and herself were snotty about it, blaming them being “short staffed” which they didn’t appear to be. Probably won’t be coming back next time we’re in town.

Food is fantastic especially the wings! Great atmosphere and great service. We try to eat here every time we are in Fairmont.

Walked in and decided to not even order the atmosphere is so bad. The waitress was outside smoking when we arrived and didn’t even wash her hands before handing us our menus and seating us. So very unsanitary and not friendly. Also the business charges a fee for using DEBIT cards, not just credit cards. I’m not sure this is even legal. I asked to pay with check to avoid the fee and go figure they won’t take checks. I’m really over these businesses passing their cost of doing business onto the consumer and will not support a business that does this.

Love this place!!! Service was fantastic and food was on point. And If you want the best server, ask for Danae! She made us want to come back the next day?Such a wonderful soul

First of all, the waitress was ignorant and very rude. Second, the food and drinks were way over priced and the food wasn’t even worth it. Third, they only had three things to eat which were chicken, pizza and corn dogs ? Fourth, they had a board that you can write on and they got mad at a 7 year old for writing poop. LAST but certainly not least, the names for food and sauces were way too inappropriate for kids. Some of the names are cock sauce and Coochie board and much more. In all I do not recommend and wish I went somewhere else.

To the person who complained about the "tip" added to their bill. It is not a tip. Credit card companies charge a fee when their card is used so it costs the restaurant, or other business, usually about 3% more to make a card sale than a cash sale. They are just covering that cost. It has nothing to do with tips or living wages. I agree the whole tipping thing is getting crazy, but this isn't that. Most businesses have a sign stating that they add an amount to credit card purchase if they do so.

This entire poor rating is based on the fact that the consumers and myself included are sick of these businesses lack of transparency and deception. I thought the atmosphere was fun and I had a couple very nice bourbons. So I get the bill and give them my card and when it comes back for signature the amount is different. They are being petty in adding secretly a credit card surcharge. What pieces of crap. Not being from America and visiting I'm getting so tired of this culture in the US including the archaic act of having to tip these people. What is wrong with this country where businesses get a constant free ride in passing on all these costs to the consumers under the radar. Pay your people right like we do in Europe.

Nice place to get some great wings! Though she was very busy our server Danny was very attentive and so nice! Waited a bit longer for our food but it was worth it!

Have been here multiple times and the food is wonderful. I love the atmosphere of this place and the have a good selection of beer to try. Service is a hit and miss buy we still go back.

Large beer and whiskey selection with a fun atmosphere! Live music on Friday nights. Food is tasty and good sized portions. Reasonably priced also. Staff is very friendly. I have went several times
