My husband and I wandered down to the Corner Bistro for the first time this afternoon. I told him after the first few bites of our lunch that I was sad we waited so long to try it! I was expecting comfort food (country grandma style) but what we got was comfort food BEAUTIFULLY elevated! Wonderful food and friendly staff. I had the Friday fish with mac-n-cheese, and stewed tomatoes special. I've never been a big fan of stewed tomatoes, but theirs was excellent. I'll be going back and if they have it, I'll get some more. .
