I stopped in today after a long hot hike for a beer and some lunch. The beer was cold and the silk road curry was delicious. Tasha was my server and did an excellent job and the food came out quick, hot and tasty. I will be back!

My friends and I decided to eat at Coach House Bar & Grill after our hike. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

My two friends received their meals well before I received mine. Our server, Kaylin, mentioned twice that she would be right back with my burger, but it didn’t arrive until about 20 minutes after my friends had already been served. The Philly Burger was delicious; however, by the time it arrived, my friends were almost finished eating, which made me feel rushed throughout the meal.

What made the experience even more frustrating was that this restaurant is located in a popular tourist area and charges an additional $3.00 for fries with a burger. If not for that upcharge, I would have left a normal tip, but between the extra charge and the poor service, I couldn’t justify it.

Overall, the combination of slow service and additional charges made the experience feel like a poor value. While the food itself was good, I would recommend considering other dining options if you’re looking for a better overall experience.

We stopped here for the 1st time in 2025 and got the Twin Meatball appetizer. The marinara sauce is The Best! We couldn't wait to get it again. So during our annual visit to Harpers Ferry on this Memorial Day weekend 2026 we told the waitress we're from New Jersey and came here specifically for the phenomenal sauce. Most of the staff made it a point to come over and chat. Thank you Janice, Tyler, Bailey and Sadal. You made our day. Hopefully we'll meet again next year on our 45th wedding anniversary.

Nice people BUT HORRIBLE hamburgers. The meat is super cheap, not even sure it was real beef. This place has gone down hill.

We liked this place almost instantly from the start. The outdoor seating was open yet intimate at the same time. The salmon dinner was excellent down to the last bite. And Kelce, our waitress was great even while busy. And many thanks for my birthday adds. Best dinner of our trip!

This was the 2nd day of our Harpers Ferry Anniversay get away and after a disappointing dinner at The Rabbit Hole down the street, to be honest,I was leary. We walked in and were immediately happily greeted by a young man who has been working there he told us for about 7 months. The interior was a very very nice...fancier British Pub feel. The bar was gorgeous and the owner's paintings made me wish I could afford them...absolutely phenomenal paintings. The music was modern rock which was great. The service was fantastic ...the waiter made conversation with us...asked us where we were from..if we had been to Harpers Ferry before, etc...like he really was interested....nice touch. The prices were less than The Rabbit Hole and we bought liquor and beer at this restaurantand more food. BUT the food was absolutely AMAZING. Freshly cooked and more of a creation than a meal. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming here and we were told the owner is eventually opening up a sandwich shop close by as well. This owner must treat his employees well because the employees we saw seemed happy, attentive and interested in their customers. That says tons about management. We will definitely come back...it will be hard to top this restaurant.

Was in Harper's Ferry for a quick trip and stopped by for a small bite to eat and a drink. Shout out to Bailey for being such a great bartender AND conversationalist. We enjoyed our visit so much! Will absolutely be back when we are local again!

Overpriced and disappointed in the quality, the burgers were literally burned black and frozen and the water tasted like it was from the gutter. This place gets its money from its strategic placement where hikers are so delirious and starving that they could eat rocks off the ground - that said, the rocks would be more appetizing than the food this place serves.

Coach House Grill Bar completely ruined what had been an amazing day in Harpers Ferry.

We had just finished a beautiful hike and were in a great mood, excited to relax and enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The food was literally frozen in the middle. When we told the waitress, she insisted that it wasn’t frozen even though it very clearly was. Not only was the food inedible, but being told that what we were seeing and tasting wasn’t real made the experience even more frustrating.

To be completely honest, the food was so bad it tasted like dog food. The quality was unacceptable, and the entire meal was disgusting.

What should have been the perfect ending to a great day ended up putting a huge damper on our mood. We left disappointed, annoyed, and wishing we had gone anywhere else.

If you’re visiting Harpers Ferry, do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are far better restaurants in town.
