So very relaxing. I’ve gone a few times this summer and enjoyed myself immensely. The daily rate is very reasonable, the lake is beautiful and you can bring your own tubes to float in. They do offer food and drink, and even have umbrellas and chairs you can rent. Lots of space for families to have their own spots and even a roped off area for smaller children. Love this place and will return many many times in the future. ☺️
My happy place! New sand laid down on the beach, cool lake water, great vibe. The owners are amazing.
Cell service is practically non-existent (though I understand they are working to bring a tower to the lake). That doesn't detect from the charm. It wouldn't be a lake getaway if you could answer emails from your phone.
There's always a burger and a Nutty Buddy to be had.

In the summer, they have a time for dogs to come enjoy the beach on Saturday mornings. It was an absolute hoot! Dozens of dogs all jumping, diving, and retrieving from the water. The staff were super friendly, understanding, and supportive. What a wonderful community-oriented place.
