“We don't eat at Barnyard BBQ very frequently due to the fact we live on the eastern edge of Charleston & it's a bit of a travel distance just to go eat out. However, whenever we are in Teays Valley we enjoy going there & find the food is usually very good.Hubs & I enjoy both the pulled pork & the brisket sandwiches alot. They're not dry but also not swimming in a spicy BBQ sauce like some other places serve. The homemade potato chips are thick & crisp, and the dill pickle is a real mouth-puckerer! The sweet tea is usually good, although it could be a little bit stronger impo. From what I've seen of other people's plates, all the food looks equally good & portions are a good size. Next time we visit, I think I'll try the smoked chicken salad, which looked huge & delicious!As far as the service goes, we've never had any problems either getting seated where we prefer OR getting served our food. One of the current online reviews complains about being seated at a table too near the kitchen window & hearing arguments among the kitchen staff. Well, speak up if you're not happy with your seating location or your food... don't just suffer in silence and then piss 'n moan pout about it online later!! We've always found the staff more than willing to relocate us to a quieter spot or do whatever was necessary to rectify any problems with our food selections.Parking: Parking at the front door with an additional parking lot around back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of available space with moveable tables that can be rearranged as necessary.“
