The food wasn't the highlight. The people were. What a fun place! The employees and surrounding people are so kind. We needed some place to carb up after a long hike, and this was a wonderful stop. Fried Ravioli is amazing! Never had it before, and I absolutely loved it. So were the fried pickles and other fried items. (Minus the chicken nuggets)
Lasagna was good, 7.5/10. The Pizza did fall flat though, the crust had no browning.
Otherwise very nice place :)

We're riding the Greenbrier River trail spending two nights in Marlinton.
Service was friendly and efficient.
We had the Greek salad and house salad, a small white pizza and a small deluxe calzone. It was tasty and we enjoyed our meal.
It was a holiday and the tavern next door was closed so no adult beverages available.
It was a great stop on our bike trip.

Quaint little Italian/American restaurant in Marlinton, WV. Located conveniently on 8th St, just a few blocks from the Greenbrier River and the hiking trail. The pizza was just okay, not as good as what you get in the Philadelphia, PA or NY City areas. The Greek salad with grilled chicken was very good with the olives and Feta cheese giving it a robust flavor despite the use of iceburg lettuce. I didn't even need to use the dressing. The food was fresh, the wait staff were very attentive, and prices were quite reasonable.

I ordered the pasta mixer. Was absolutely delicious. I had my fill and brought leftovers home and we both had it for lunch worth a salad the next day. Prices are more than reasonable. Will definitely go back when we go next spring.

I am editing my previous post since I received a nasty AND untruthful reply from I guess the management. The food was horrible. They do not know the meaning of appetizers which come BEFORE the meal. As pricey as it is plastic utensils should never be served. Management replied it was so busy. FALSE!! There were when we ordered 3 other families. Yet took so long. And the reply I received was a generic reply since my friend got the SAME reply. They do NOT care about customers but only the money they can take and tips they can make. So let’s see how management replies…I’d say I get another hateful response!! Don’t go here!!!!
Here is their GENERIC reply that I received TWICE!!! OMG!!! It was NOT busy unless you think 2 families is BUSY!!! AND if you actually READ everyones reviews there are several concerns...so not EVERYONE loves you!!!
Their Generic reply again:
You are the only one who didn't like our pasta. Everyone loves it. If you don't like it, go wherever you want. We have a lot of customers who like our food and we can't change anything for a single person. In return, everyone knows who we are. Didn't you see how busy we were today? There was not an empty chair or table and people waited outside for more than 20 minutes for a table to be emptied.

The food here was unexpectedly excellent. We came each day we were in town. The pizza was great, as was the cheese steak. Good pricing, definitely worth it.

Pet Friendly on deck
Met some people here for a late lunch. They weren't serving on the porch but they allowed you to order to-go and eat out there. One person in our party ordered the spaghetti and the other two of us ordered pizza. I screwed up and ordered two 1 topping pizzas. Meant to get one 2 topping pizza. The pizza is good but greasy. The deck outside is nice but the late warm weather of the season had ignited some aggravating bees. The young lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. Pepsi products and iced tea. The adjoining pub next door (they share the patio) serves adult beverages but doesn't open until later in the afternoon.
Parking: Parking is on side street or on the main drag. This restaurant is located on a busy street for a small town.

Ordered Spahghetti and Ziti meals...how can you mess that up. Spaghetti was only 1/2 cooked. Baked Ziti also was raw. Ordered an appetizer, it came out with our meal, not prior. Food sucked, service Sucked and the cook needs to go back to changing oil at Wal-Mart. Was told "Do not go there, go to Dairy Land by a local". Sure should have listened.
Edith and Danny were fantastic owners with great service. Danny is a wise guy sense of humor type. Which we love. They offered to stay open as late as we liked past closing time! Now that is rare! We are traveling and staying in area a few days. Will return tonight.
