One of them always treats my son like he’s at his grandma’s house, which means so much to me. “I love the sandwiches offered on the weekends at this cozy Cafe. The Gobble Gobble is my absolute favorite. The baked goods are out of this world. Trellis always greets me with a smile and conversation. I haven't tried the Cozy Dinners on Saturday evenings or the Sunday suppers yet. I am wanting to go when Cajun dishes are on the menu....he's from New Orleans so it would be an authentic experience.”

“My dad introduced me to this pizza in 1970. Back then it was called Pizzaria Italia. Same owner today. It is still my “go to” pizza. The owner came over from Italy and trained in New York City back in the 1960’s. When my dad died in 2014, Al came to my dad’s funeral and provided us with free pizza for the reception. Great family as well as pizza.”

“We stumbled across Old School Pizzeria today. It's like walking into Grandma's kitchen! Service was friendly and the food was amazing. The owner gave us some history of the old school building and she was very welcoming, we chatted throughout our meal! We started with a pan of cheese bread with the homemade garlic butter and marinara, after eating 1/2 the pan our pizza arrived. And let me tell you..Absolutely fantastic! Family recipes past down and turned into the best pizza we have found in WV. Even though it's quite a drive for us we will definitely be back!!! And bringing friends next time!!!!”

“Our first time visit on December 19, 2025 to celebrate my birthday. We didn’t order any appetizers, we ordered the Church platter and shared it. Service was fast and very attentive. We went with the potato salad and slaw for the sides, the slaw was very dry and tasted awful (I couldn’t even say what it tasted like, but nothing like slaw) and the potato salad was much better, very dry and not a good taste. We chose the chicken, pork and beef as the meats, they were delicious and the chicken was our favorite. The waffle fries weren’t too bad, maybe a little overcooked. Everything got cold very quick, not sure if it is because everything is served on metal trays? But everyone’s tastes are different, so give it a try, the meats are delicious!”

“SO good. The rice is so flavorful and I hate when restaurants put peas and other veggies aside from onion in rice and they don’t do that so I loved it. The elote was so so good I could eat that everyday. I got the shrimp street tacos and they were so good.”
