“We were in West Virginia on the hunt for the perfect pepperoni roll and the wonderful local folks directed us to the Taste of Heaven - what a treat - yummmmmmm. If you are in the Lewisburg it’s a must stop!I FELT THE NEED TO EDIT MY RRVIEW - when we got home and I had my fist pepperoni roll I about fell off my chair ….. if I had been a smart woman I would have tried one on site and then promptly walked my self right back in an bought them all - we also cried the cookies - yummy moist and delicious- it’s a must visit - it’s literally right off the highway so stop for gas and hit this place on your travels!”
“We stopped by Corn+Flour on our way out of town on a Monday morning and it was the perfect way to cap off our stay in the area. There was a steady flow of regulars, service was quick and friendly even during a rush and the food was delicious, fresh and warm. We got the Local Yokel and the Hipster along with a couple of cookies and it all perfectly hit the spot and fueled us for the drive home.”
“Passing thru Lewisburg on the way to Charleston. Stopped at Amy’s Market for an ice cream cone. Service: the epitome of gr8 customer service! Ice Cream: delicious! Atmosphere: inviting, friendly, has many local vendors’ wares. Highly recommend stopping here for a sweet treat!”
“We recently moved to White Sulphur Springs after almost 40 years in Miami. The Stardust Cafe has been one of our best finds. The food is reasonably priced and ridiculously good. Today I had the tomato basil soup and the Veggie Panini. The soup may have been the best tomato basil I have ever had. The Panini was out of this world--a gorgeous mixture of fresh vegetables, feta and a tangy vinaigrette on ciabatta, pressed into a thin & crispy sandwich. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.”
“The French Goat is absolutely amazing. The waiter was beyond wonderful. He was spot on on all recommendations. The food was phenomenal from appetizers to dessert from champagne to after dinner hot tea. Highly recommend this dining experience.”
“Chai and Hot Chocolate Break. Amazing flavors and price was good. Did not have a large selection of baked goods but to be fair we were there near closing on Saturday afternoon. Service was great.”
“When we walked in the smell of baked goods was amazing. The owners are so friendly and inviting. We tried the pepperoni rolls, pretzels, cinnamon rolls, and a few other baked goods. Everything was wonderful. I will say the pepperoni and cinnamon rolls are some of the best I have ever tried. We will definitely be going back!!”
“I've stopped here twice this week while visiting family. It's a little drive thru shop near the high school and fair grounds. The staff is really friendly and the service is really quick. They have really good, not great coffee. But probably the best in the area. When in the area visiting family, I'll definitely be back.”
“It is the drive in you went to as a kid!!! They have everything!!! Burgers, dogs, sausage, fries, shakes, pie, cake ...We had fried mushrooms, garlic cheese curds, and chili cheese fries.YumMy!Hit the spot for an afternoon snack!!We pulled in at 2:55. They close at 3:00 and served us right up!”
“Some of the BEST food I’ve had in a LONG time! I’m not a foodie like the rest of my friends, so it’s big for me to say this place is 12/10!! The owners were more than friendly, the grilled cheese had me dancing, & the cauliflower bisque had be stealing everyone’s bread.”
“Fun little spot to have a snack and try some very unique beers. Loads of options if you're into craft beer. I highly recommend. We'll probably stop in here every time we come through town!”
“There are several Mexican restaurants in this town but I'll drive by all of them to go to MI Tequila. Some times they are very busy (because they're good!) and the wait can be a little long but it's always worth the wait.”
“Went here because it was walking distance from our hotel(holiday inn lewisburg wv). Nothing fancy takeout only establishment. Huge portions reasonably priced with an interesting assortment of boba drinks as well. Food was good but a bit over salted as most such places have their food.”
“This place is incredible. Grab a beer with friends or dinner with the whole family and friends. Games for the kids and adults, awesome atmosphere for hanging and watching the game. Delicious food from Flavor Mutt. Can’t say enough good about Sportsman Tavern.”
“i feel like this place is really underrated. always such good food, quick and such nice wait staff. they just remodeled too and it looks amazing! i would recommend this place 100%”
“The burgers are at this spot, friendly service, great atmosphere, and it's right next to the AMC theater so I can grab some food after a movie, make sure to get the quesadilla burger it was fantastic!”
“Some real thought has gone I to this food.Stopped in because we wanted more than fast food on our vacation road trip, and can't more happy with our choice. The staff is welcoming and cheery. And the food is amazing. There's some real thought in this food. It's not just budget Italian. Frsh ingredients stand out. The seasoning is intentional and everything goes well together, both in pairing and contrast.Don't pass this place by.”
“Food is absolutely delicious!! I can't really comment on the atmosphere as it's been quite a while since I've eaten in the restaurant. I've had it delivered several times now and the orders have been correct, quick, and delicious! Highly recommend!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Tootsie's Place in White Sulphur Springs, WV, is an absolute gem! This charming little spot transports you back to the heyday of small-town soda shops from the early '60s, complete with a delightful bakery and café atmosphere. While primarily a to-go establishment, there's a cozy counter where a couple of lucky patrons can sit and soak in the nostalgic ambiance. The staff here are incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.Tootsie's offers an array of treats, from old-fashioned sodas to freshly brewed coffee and an assortment of delectable baked goods. Stop by, say hello to the wonderful folks behind the counter, and indulge in some of the best treats you'll find in White Sulphur Springs. You won't be disappointed!”
“Who would've thought a little taco place in small-town, WV would be throwing such good burritos and, of all things, gourmet potato wedge plates...queso fries are good as is, but the chimi and pepper oil put this over the top! Great service and a cool group of guys working here. We'll be back!”
“I loved the soup, delicious. The house salad I liked the ginger taste but hated the sweetness. I got the hibachi lobster tail. Parts of the lobster were perfect, but parts were overcooked and rubbery. My husband got a sushi lunch special and loved it. My husband loved the house salad. But I don't like sweet meats or vegetables. My husband has no problem with it. The presentation was beautiful.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu.”
“Listen up. You have to know what you’re getting here. It’s takeout only and it’s located inside a gas station, but it’s my guilty-pleasure pizza. It’s always consistent and delicious.”
“Quaint little Breakfast and lunch cafe. We enjoyed a very good breakfast, fast service and friendly staff. It’s good to support local businesses as we pasted through Lewisburg, WV. The Market is located in the beautiful & historic downtown area.”
“Had a great time! Came from Clifton forge to do a little late night drinking with my boyfriend and service was great, drinks were awesome and tasted amazing, there was a wedding party and an influx of people from another event and service was still top notch! Will definitely go again if we're in Lewisburg.”
“Good local spot for karaoke on Thursday and Friday nights. Environment is constantly changing based on which sports teams are on and which locals are there that night. Highly recommend the wings and motz sticks!”
“Small business inside a small market.Pizza overall was ok too much salsa for me but good amount of cheese and I think I would like it more if it was stuffed crust. And the wedges were ?”
“Good place , well went to snow shoe during October 4th week and believe me there is nothing to eat up there on the mountain, everything closes by 7, none of the restaurants are open during October. Had to travel almost 2 hours to get a good lunch. We do have the subway which was life saver and low the crew there.”
“We went for drinks at the bar. The place has charm and a very local feel to it. We all had G&T's and chatted with the bartender for a few. I can't rate the food menu, but if you want cheap drinks, this is your first place to stop if your in the local area.”
“This is the legendary basketball player Jerry West's restaurant and the nicest place to dine at the Greenbrier. We all had a wonderful experience the night we visited here. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. What stuck out the most, though, was the waiting area in front of the ladies' room shown in this picture, which was like nothing we've ever seen! What an awesome overall experience.”
“Better than expected! Visited on a Saturday evening kinda off season. The location is an old school commercial location. From past experience some of these are sketchy and some are pretty good. This one is pretty good. The Beer. Ok so I am beer snob with a professional beer certificate from VT so my bar is kinda high. I had a hazy IPA which was a good version of that style of beer. However, my wife had the Saison which was an AWESOME version of that style. The place was much busier than I would had expected and we just barely found a place to sit. Which brings me to the folks that go there. What a great group of people. We ended up chatting with a number of folks which was kinda cool. The brewery is dog friendly, and unlike a lot of places, the dogs here were pretty well behaved. Lighting could be improved but if that is my only complaint that is not a bad review now isn't it?”
