We stopped at Cook’s Country Kitchen while traveling for a late breakfast. The food was good overall but the hash browns were not good at all and the grits were quite tasteless. My wife’s steak and gravy was cold. So the food was good but there’s room for improvement.
The food was delivered cool not piping hot. The servers were a bit busy being only 2 for all the tables. We were on the verge of leaving when the server appeared to take our order.

Food was good. Clean. But the waitress was awful! She was loud and obnoxious. We do not care that she didn't sleep last night. She messed up our orders, reached across the table to hand a plate to the other side (too lazy to walk around) and serve properly. Messed up the checks. I had to ask for a coffee refill. She isn't doing the owner any favors by showing up to work. She even announced she didn't have to come to work today...I say stay home!
