The food was very good and the portions were excellent.
If you are looking for comfort this is the place
Our service was good. Our vegetables were the usual delicious. The lemon grilled trout was not the usual good though. It was very thin and overcooked and dry.
The Morgantown merchandise is plenty and nice. The restaurant facility is worn out and needs a thorough cleaning. Where we sat the chairs were dirty, the glass on the photos was filthy and we could see peeling and dirty sills and walls. The overall conditions were not clean. We walked in the man at the front seated us at a round table we looked over menus waitresses would walk past and say nothing we sat there for a half an hour before getting up and walking out people were walking in after us sitting and ordering right away as we walked out we said something to the man that seated us and he acted like he never saw us! Very disappointed with there service

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers a unique dining experience combined with a charming store. The trout and New York strip are highly recommended, with fast service and friendly waitstaff. The mashed potatoes and hush puppies are flavorful. A perfect pit stop during a long drive, providing a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Sunday dinner with attentive service. The new mini-cinnamon roll skillet was a great reward. This has to be one of the cleanest and well run Cracker Barrel. Very nice staff and fast service.
