“Today was Veteran's day and we went at the busiest part of lunch hour. We were seated within 15 minutes. The young lady at the front taking names and seating people did an excellent job, she was constantly moving.
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the rib eye special...it was huge and included 2 sides for under 22 dollars. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.“

“We were at Applebee's at Morgantown WV for a snack meal, and seated by a blind woman who must have been a fairly regular customer. Our waitress Leayah was superb with both the woman and us. l was so impressed with how she interacted with this woman--we didn't interrupt or try to speak with her but she was so well taken care of by our waitress. There aren't a lot of people who go the extra mile, but she has... There are still very good people in the country....“

“I stopped at Dirty Bird on a road trip through Kentucky and West Virginia. They were super busy so it took a good 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Well worth the wait. I've been eating a good many sandwiches on this trip and this one was the best by far.
I had the Vera Cruz and it was exceptional. I wish I had ordered a second sandwich I could eat tomorrow.“

“This was our first trip to this restaurant. We come to Morgantown for my doctor and always try some place new. I wish we had visited here sooner. The soup and salad bar was perfect for me. The potato soup was the best I have ever eaten. Wish I could have bought home a gallon of it. Will be coming back next visit. The service was great too. Husband had chili and Philly cheesecake sandwich and enjoyed it very much.“

“I recently had my baby shower here in the Clara room. The room itself is beautiful as is with drapery hanging from the ceiling and it only got better with our decorations. Rob the manager made sure to have tables/chairs set up with napkins and linens when we arrived. He was very attentive during the entire shower and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was hot and delicious and a vegetarian meal was provided for my veggie guest. Rob even brought me sparking grape juice so I could feel included while my guests enjoyed sangria. Everything was lovely and I definitely recommend having your bridal/baby showers or rehearsal dinners here.“

“I got wings tonight for dinner. They was the worst wings I've ever had. Did not taste like Buffalo sauce at all and the Nashville hot was a joke no sauce hardly on any of them. They was rubbery and undercooked and poor wing quality. I will never order wings from them again and I will be sure to tell my friends never to order them either“

I was told they had the best wings in town. I think they were good but not the best I have had... maybe the best in Morgantown. The restaurant gives off its own vibe, but not in a bad way - it is just unique. I had my wings in the basement. The waitress "Meg" was awesome, super attentive, and did a great job of handling us folks in the basement.

I do think it is worthy of a visit while in WV.“

“My partner and I stopped in for dinner and we are always pleasantly surprised at how well the steaks come out. They are well seasoned and cooked perfectly to temp. The service was excellent, and the sides we got (asparagus, brussel sprouts, and Mac and cheese) were superb. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night but there was no wait.“

“Definately a place to go if you want to be seen at a club. Always buisy so go early. People in here really dont talk to eachother though. It's kinda small. It is 2 floors with 2 bars and a couple lounge areas that's it. Drinks aren't bad for watered down club faire plus there are enough bartenders you dont have to wait until your inevitable death to get a drink. I'd go here again but it's not the kind of place you spend all night in.“

“For a sports bar, which I am not a big fan of, it's a comfortable and obviously a local hangout. The wings and truffle fries were delicious. My only complaint is the amount of sauce poured over the wings. I compared it to bobbing for apples, but using my fingers instead of my mouth. The portion of truffle fries would have fed a table of 4. I hate wasting food, but I hate overeating more. I'll definitely go back and request less sauce. Proble. Solved.“

“Excellent food and service. The Manhattan chowder was very good and filling. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty and full of chicken as was the Caesar salad with the smoked chicken. The roast beef was tender and tasty. We stopped for lunch but could envision this a fun place in the evening when more people could “throw the axes”! There are back rooms for larger groups. Very clean and well maintained!“

“My husband and I went on Veterans Day because they honor veterans with a free dinner. You don't get to choose, it's just whatever they decide but he loved it.
