“Went to Whitetail Crossing for lunch and sat at the bar. Staff and patrons very friendly. Decent variety on food choices, beer, and liquor. Wings were excellent for an appetizer and then we both had burgers. You can choose from waffle fries, crinkle cut, brew pub, or sweet potato fries. Guys at the bar had pizza and they said it was great too. They even offered us some. Definitely will be back.“

“Interesting place...

I was told they had the best wings in town. I think they were good but not the best I have had... maybe the best in Morgantown. The restaurant gives off its own vibe, but not in a bad way - it is just unique. I had my wings in the basement. The waitress "Meg" was awesome, super attentive, and did a great job of handling us folks in the basement.

I do think it is worthy of a visit while in WV.“

“This place is an absolute BANGER! The staff is always nice and pleasant, especially Mr. Merino, who by the way, serves amazing drinks. I couldn’t tell you a time I had to wait an extended amount of time for a drink because there wasn’t one. I think the environment is real fun. There are pool tables for you to play with, and you can play a trivia game on the tv there. The bathroom is super clean for the most part, unlike some bars in Morgantown that has urine all over the floors and sometimes dookie smeared about. The bar itself is the main attraction where you’ll have a nice selection of your favorite drinks to choose from. If you want a cosmo or an exotic fruit infused Michelob, you can get it all.“

“Back in 2012 this place was the beez knees. Magic was always in the air. 50 cent wings, cheap beer and lots of fun. Went back to visit a few weeks ago and my heart was happy the place was still there and it's still perfect, to this day. I recommend everyone try this place at least once, it's a no brainer. Don't be an idiot, go. Love you sportspage and Morgantown, thank you for the good times and memories.“

“Food was good..place was quiet when we walked in.than there was trivia I really wish we entered. Got a good amount without trying. Love the place such a great crowd. Unfortunately locals had no idea we were alive but had great time anyways.“

“Definately a place to go if you want to be seen at a club. Always buisy so go early. People in here really dont talk to eachother though. It's kinda small. It is 2 floors with 2 bars and a couple lounge areas that's it. Drinks aren't bad for watered down club faire plus there are enough bartenders you dont have to wait until your inevitable death to get a drink. I'd go here again but it's not the kind of place you spend all night in.“

“This is my go to bar! I have been going since I turned 21 and I love it. I have sensory overload issues at most bars and clubs, but Mutts is always calm and comfortable. I truly feel at home when I am here. Usually I hate souvenir shirts, but I love this bar so much I actually bought a sweatshirt from them! I can't wait to enjoy more time at this amazing dive!“

“For a sports bar, which I am not a big fan of, it's a comfortable and obviously a local hangout. The wings and truffle fries were delicious. My only complaint is the amount of sauce poured over the wings. I compared it to bobbing for apples, but using my fingers instead of my mouth. The portion of truffle fries would have fed a table of 4. I hate wasting food, but I hate overeating more. I'll definitely go back and request less sauce. Proble. Solved.“

“If you’re looking for a bar that is fun and energetic from the minute you walk in with cheap drinks you found it. When Toby Keith broke through an American flag chugging liquor out of a solo cup singing “I love this barIt's my kind of placeJust walkin' through the front doorPuts a big smile on my face” you absolutely without a doubt know he is talking about Squirrels. “Excellent food and service. The Manhattan chowder was very good and filling. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty and full of chicken as was the Caesar salad with the smoked chicken. The roast beef was tender and tasty. We stopped for lunch but could envision this a fun place in the evening when more people could “throw the axes”! There are back rooms for larger groups. Very clean and well maintained!“

“Really nice ambiance inside. We had dinner at the bar on a Friday night, the place was booked up but we were able to walk in around 5:30 to catch the end of Happy hour. We really enjoyed the cocktails, meatballs, and the Tuscan chicken Alfredo. The pizza was mediocre, the texture of the crust was soggy and didn't seem to rise. However, the service was excellent and we still enjoyed the meal. I'd definitely go back and try other items on the menu.“

“I got wings tonight for dinner. They was the worst wings I've ever had. Did not taste like Buffalo sauce at all and the Nashville hot was a joke no sauce hardly on any of them. They was rubbery and undercooked and poor wing quality. I will never order wings from them again and I will be sure to tell my friends never to order them either“
