“I like everything about this establishment. That said, I have only eaten here once. The current owners are relatively new, but have made the business very attractive. They have a great variety on the menu, and the pricing of the menu is appropriate to more than appropriate for the portions, and the presentation of the menu items! The meal I ate was one of the better sandwiches that I have had in a long time while dining out. The staff is of the friendliest, as are the patrons they have. All around, I suggest getting your hands on a menu and trying it for yourself. But if you're looking for a place to relax, watch a game, play some darts or pool, gamble a little, meet new friends, or just try something new, the Silver Spur has not disappointed me yet.“

“Our visit to Gene’s a few weeks ago was great fun. Our mission was to buy a hat after seeing John R Miller wearing their hat at a concert a few years ago. So we drove from Michigan in pursuit of a Gene’s hat. We also got this cool drawing. Staff and patrons were a blast … and the beer and hot dogs were great. Such a fun experience at this treasure in Morgantown!“
