“Had lunch and breakfast on back-to-back days and our server, Jodi, was very attentive on both visits. Turkey club was solid, blueberry pancakes also reliably good. For ~$16 a plate, and a short distance from our hotel, both visits to Perkins were very pleasant & a good value. The 50's music was a nice touch too.“

“Looking for a good steak in the area. Choose this as it had many good reviews, specifically on their steaks. And they were right! All 4 of us had steak! From NY strip, prime rib and the surf and turf combo. All done exactly as requested and were outstanding. We had baked potatoes, broccoli and asparagus. Everything was perfect. Enjoyed a pineapple mule as well. Would definitely recommend and will go back. The decor is big knotty pine beams and rustic lodge. Perfect for the area. Our waitress was fabulous- very knowledgeable, didn't miss a beat on anything.“

“I typically frequent a different local restaurant, but I decided to try the The Green Turtle this time. Normally, I review the menu beforehand, but I skipped that step. The crab dip and shrimp pasta were absolutely delicious , while my uncle enjoyed an avocado chicken sandwich along with a Tropic Buzz drink. This place has quickly become one of my new favorites, and I must mention that our waitress, Jen, was fantastic at suggesting dishes for us to try.“

“My new favorite place to eat! Whether you're at the Lake or in Oakland the food here is Worth the trip!! I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, my husband got the Smash Burger and our daughter got the Mac and Cheese, we also tried the crabby hushpuppies and fresh cut fries. Everything was soooo delicious! The service was great, the staff is so friendly and the food was hot and prepared perfectly! 🤤🤤🤤 The crab hushpuppies are a must for sure!!!“

“Food was amazing. However we came during shift change, and was treated like the left over table. after waiting a few minutes our server told us she wouldn’t be our server but would grab our drinks. After 20 minutes the same server came back and took our order and assured us our new server would be there soon. Food came out, the new server introduced herself and I finally got a refill. Again food is amazing just don’t go during shift change.“
