“My new favorite place to eat! Whether you're at the Lake or in Oakland the food here is Worth the trip!! I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, my husband got the Smash Burger and our daughter got the Mac and Cheese, we also tried the crabby hushpuppies and fresh cut fries. Everything was soooo delicious! The service was great, the staff is so friendly and the food was hot and prepared perfectly! 🤤🤤🤤 The crab hushpuppies are a must for sure!!!“

“Just had lunch with my daughter and grands. Very friendly staff, handled our order specifications easily. Food was hot and yummy. We had waffles, pancakes, burger, bacon and sausage. The boys loved it all especially the lemonade. Still one of my favorite places to eat ( and browse) when I'm in the area“

Had an amazing Cobb Salad
Husband had LIVER mashed gravy corn roll.
Chocolate pie for dessert! Yummy
Everything was delicious. Courtesy sweet tea for the road( we were drinking coffee, which was great for a diner)
Definitely a must have stop.

“Food was amazing. However we came during shift change, and was treated like the left over table. after waiting a few minutes our server told us she wouldn’t be our server but would grab our drinks. After 20 minutes the same server came back and took our order and assured us our new server would be there soon. Food came out, the new server introduced herself and I finally got a refill. Again food is amazing just don’t go during shift change.“

“I love this bistro!!! it simply is the best place in downtown Oakland to eat or have a cocktail or even sit and talk with friends. 206 offers a variety of cocktails that change with the seasons, as well as every classic cocktail you can imagine the food is second to none. You can see fresh ingredients come through the restaurant from the farmers market, and certainly taste the quality and caring that goes in every thing. I make it a point to stop here at least a few times a week. It doesn’t matter if it’s for breakfast, lunch dinner or for the entertainment/music they have never disappointed me. Everything is top notch, and the owners and staff are all friendly and fun to interact with! If you’re anywhere in downtown Oakland or walking up Alder Street, you do not want to miss this experience!!!“
