We went on Sunday afternoon and dined at “Sophie’s” table. Things were overall okay, some menu knowledge would have been helpful. However, she let us know at the end of our dining experience (with 5 people) that she couldn’t split the checks. She said it was impossible for her. She told us that we should have had to let her know in the beginning. It was our first time there so we had no idea. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything on the menu to let us know either. When we expressed our confusion, we were ignored. Overall, we thought firewater was great food and had an awesome atmosphere. We will definitely try again to hopefully have a better experience with a different server. Firewater definitely deserves to have someone represent this locally owned spot.“

“Stopped in for brunch on Sunday morning. Service was excellent, we were seated and served quickly even though it was packed. We got pancakes and two burgers, the patties were really well seasoned and the fries were super crispy. Everything was delicious, I'd definitely recommend!!“

“Backbone is our go to place for date nights or family events. The food is delicious and it’s a beautiful tavern. They have a great menu for kids as well. It’s my two year olds favorite place to eat. With every kid meal they send out a chocolate treat as well. 10/10 would recommend.“
