“First time eating here and it was delicious! I had the ham steak, side salad, and cottage cheese. Husband had the patty melt with fresh-cut fries and brown gravy. Fresh made burger on the patty melt, fries dipped in the gravy were spectacular. Dinner was great! We then ordered dessert, I got a slice of lemon pie and my husband got the Ho-Ho cake. Not disappointed at all. Great service and great food.”

“2 of my friends and I (From Clevland Ohio) stopped here to eat after visiting the state penitentiary and was greeted with a great atmosphere. We all got the same item and we left with a full stomach and very satisfied. The burger alone was probably worth the drive to West Virginia.”

“The server was so friendly, they were like family. The food is good Home cooking. The mashed potatoes and gravy were made from scratch and the Salisbury steak was made with top quality meat. We had the blackberry cobbler. The crust was flaky, buttery, and delicious. I going back tomorrow for more.”

“I’ve ate here a lot of times. Today I got slim Jim and onion rings. The ham on my slim Jim was 2 slices of paper thin ham and the Swiss cheese the same. I know these are trying times, but come on.”

“Nicks a cozy quaint place to have a cold beer and chit chat with local folks...there is also a motel on sight that u can stay at if you've had to much to drink lol...its a small but clean little bar with a warm atmosphere.”

We come here every year and we loved this particular Perkins. Cool thing too, as we were waiting for a food, We realized we had been talking to the Store general manager when we saw her picture on the wall. She was very friendly and. Personable. She even listened to one of my husband’s stories, lol. Highly recommend this place.”

The waitress was so nice. She gave us time to eat and not over hover. She was there at the right times. I am just in wow over the kindness.
