Fat Eddie's was so disappointing today. They were out of ice cream and snow cones. They should have a sign posted so customers don't waste their time waiting in line.My response to owner:I have been to FE many times. I love it there. Simply a must stop. Absolutely the best hamburgers in the world. Plenty to choose from all kinds of food. It’s a quick stop right off of Highway 129 near Summersville dam. Very close to US 19. If you’re boating the Gauley, River or Summersville lake, you must stop here, you will not be disappointed. All food is made to order so takes a little bit longer but certainly worth the wait. Grab a shake while you wait and enjoy. Plenty of room for outdoor seating.

Whenever we are traveling through the area we have to stop here. In addition to the excellent food, the staff at Fat Eddies is always friendly and helpful. The community is very fortunate to have this outstanding restaurant. Truly a gem along the lake.
