“John is a myth. A legend. A man with a backstory. He is an angel from heaven, crafting divinity out of edible commodities. Going to Piccolo Paula’s an experience that I never miss out on in visiting Tucker county, and it is always a highlight of a trip. His food is divine. The menu is diverse, featuring seafood, local catches, and even worldly delights. The specials are magical. Crab? He’s the master. Alligator? Still waiting to try this catch. His local salmon dishes and oak barrel, top tier steak? It’s life changing. Every meal feels like a gift, every bite a reminder of why this place stands above the rest. If you find yourself anywhere near Tucker County, don’t just stop by—make a pilgrimage. Thanks for the crab lump, shrimp flatbread. It’s pure joy.“

“Terrible food, employees have a terrible attitude. My iced coffee was full of grounds and when the employee remade it (after rolling her eyes at me) it tasted awful and didn't have any ice in it. The burgers were small and pathetic and the fries were limp and soggy. The fountain drink tasted watered down and gross. My ten year old even said it was the worst McDonald's he's ever been to.“

“Delicious breakfast bagels and great coffee, served up by friendly staff in a warm, relaxing cafe. Worth the trip over from Elkins on a snowy Thursday! ❄️ The barista’s recommendation of a French Toast bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese was amazing!! Don’t miss it!“
