Since moving from San Diego California to Charles Town in early 2000s I always missed the abundant access to local fresh Mexican food; near impossible to find the same un-Americanized style in the Jefferson County area. I made my second visit to Ortega's yesterday and was just as delighted as the first visit! The food is delicious and the service is great. It has a great vibe and is immaculate in terms of how clean and nice the dining space is! I got carry out and I really, really appreciated seeing my food was wrapped in simple foil and chips in a brown paper bag. It's not always the easiest or cheapest way for a restaurant to use more eco-friendly methods so they deserve a shout out from someone...read full review
Holy Crap!! I'm a sucker for a good taco. and this place has them. Stopped in today and grabbed one of each kind. mixed between street/regular. man they were good. I don't know how I didn't know this place was here but ill be back!!
