“My wife and I took a day trip to W Virginia from DC on July 5th and stumbled upon this cute little town in West Virginia. A couple of the locals in Wardensville suggested we try Kac-Ka-Pon before we head back to DC. I didn't catch our servers name but he was a very polite young man. Did his job well. He suggested the baked haddock and I'm glad he did. It was fantastic. I had the haddock over rice, mashed with gravy and pickled beets. The beets were phenomenal. My wife had a pork chop with mashed and green beans. She was happy with her selection as well. Don't forget to ask for rolls. They were warm and delicious. Our server asked us several times how our food was. He never let our soft drinks get empty which tells me he was paying attention to us. Lastly, the price was mind boggling to me. For the two delicious meals we had and several soft drinks, our total bill came to $30. I paid more than that for breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Manassas that morning. I couldn't believe how fair the pricing was. I don't think the team at Kac Ka Pon get a lot of visitors in their kitchen because I stepped in quickly to let the chef know how pleased we were and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. I was just trying to be friendly. Anyways, we would go back to this restaurant if we're ever in Wardensville again.“
