“We popped into Wild Roots for a late dinner on a whim and are so glad that we did!
The atmosphere was fun and laid back, with travel maps, books and magazines scattered about and a comfy seating area for enjoying coffee.
It was hard to decide what to order. The choices were many and all looked delicious. I finally selected the fish and chips and my husband selected the reuben sandwich and fries.
Our food arrived quickly and steaming hot. It was beautifully plated and looked and felt special even before we took our first bites.
The fish was served with the best tartar sauce I have ever had. It was slightly spicy and full of fresh lemon juice. The fires were perfectly golden, sprinkled with salt and fresh parsley. Crispy outside and creamy inside. So delicious that, I am still thinking about them today! The coleslaw was not shredded as most slaw is, but sliced into thin ribbons that held just the right amount of dressing and fresh cracked pepper. Perfection!
The reuben was stuffed with thin sliced, juicy, corned beef, kraut, cheese and a sweet and sour dressing. My husband declared it the best reuben he has ever had, and he has had many!
The staff was attentive and checked on us frequently. The chef talked to us after dinner and told us about upcoming seasonal changes to the menu for Fall. We are looking forward to trying them.
We can't wait to return and will be going back very soon! If you have not tried this little gem of a restaurant, please go. I know you will not be disappointed!“

“We just order food and it was fast and amazing. The food was very hot and fresh and our drinks were absolutely amazing (they were iced coffees) The young man that brought our food out was very well mannered. He was a thin lanky fella and 100% deserves a raise. 10/10 experience
Parking: AMAZING“
