Love this restaurant. Chill vibe, absolutely great food!! Couldn't get the brisket, so that's next time. Baked chicken was fabulous, but those siddessss!! Candied yams, cooked cabbage, baked beans!! Lawzy!! Delish!! And ya gotta have the banana cake!!! On point!!

I’m in West Virginia for work and decided to try this place. Let me tell you…BEST meal I’ve had in a long time. Food was on point, fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had! Place was clean, and the woman who was serving was absolutely awesome! Would recommend this place to anybody!! 5 stars!!

Can a dish make you cry? Of course! Want to cry because a dish is delicious? Come here. Baby. Let. Me. Tell. You. The moment I took a bite of that BBQ rib my spirit ascended to a realm that I cannot explain. No. Explaining would be impossible. You just gotta try! & don't even get me started on the candied yams.. just go. Get your food from here. Book for weddings, funerals, birthdays, divorces, breakups, anniversaries, any reason is a good reason! Just do it.

Healthy soul food but if you add your own salt and hot sauce five stars. Owner Isiah and dad and mom makes it worth the trip. Sumthin Funny is a monthly occurrence but we haven't experienced. Wife gives it five stars all around. Cornbread should be soft and cake sweet. Not firm and healthy. My doctor would disagree.

I ordered the Brisket Dinner at the end of the day I got three pieces of Brisket, hard burnt ends an inedible. I did get a 2 x 3 inch piece of meat that I could eat. I ordered Mashed Potatoes but they were out. I ordered an extra sized peach cobbler for $6.50, but they were out. They sent me a $4.50 piece of Banana Cake, no refund, no extra cake. I paid $29.00+ for this inedible dinner. I had never ordered from here before, this was so disappointing. I treat myself to one take out dinner a month and sad to say, this is what I got. I would like a full refund. I'm on Social security and this was supposed to be a treat for me. You may contact me through my Door Dash account to please refund my money for the entire meal
