No disrespect, but the Märzen style beer they make is more like a Festbier than a proper Märzen, and I just wanted people to know. It's too hoppy for what it's advertised.

We're harvest host members, and for those who dont know its a camping membership that allows you to stay the night at places like High Ground Brewing. We originally were scheduled to stay on a local farm, not far from high ground, but our van was incapable of traversing the driveway to the farm(Riffle farms). The farm coordinated with high ground long after the cutoff time and they graciously allowed us to stay the night. We didnt arrive until after business hours, but we will be back for a drink. Thanks for the hospitality!

Really good beer here -- highly recommend. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Will be back, if we're able. A few snacks available, but no real food, unless a food truck is visiting.
Towards the top of the list for WV Craft Breweries. Friendly service and a rotating assortment of ~12 or so beers. I'll always enjoy a taproom with a popcorn machine. Worth the trip if you are staying in the Deep Creek Area.

Great brewery! We love the beers and diversity of the beers they offer. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This was a very relaxing spot for us. We will return.

I found this brewery through Harvest Hosts and didn’t know what to expect. I stayed with the Weird Science lager which was excellent. They have several IPA that customers raved about but not a big fan of them. The place has really neat vibes (rooster running around) The bar keep was very welcoming and efficient. Met some good local folks and had a great time!
