Great views with good food. A little messy now because of construction.
Parking: Construction has a lot of parking spots unavailable so they're is limited parking. Good news is there not super busy this time of year.

They were 12 hours way from closing for 6 months. Everything was less than previous visits. The lodge is now undergoing major construction which we would have appreciated some notice in advance and reserved accordingly.
totally love our annual trip to Oglebay. Only downside is the floor is a bit slippery where the buffet is set up. Being I am normally in heels I usually opt out but I also prefer being served at dinner. Views are tremendouse and otherwise always a stellar experience!
The Ihlenfeld Dining Room offers great views and good food, though it currently has limited parking due to ongoing construction. The lodge underwent major renovations for six months, which could have benefited from advance notice. While the floor can be slippery near the buffet, the dining experience is generally stellar. The holiday buffet features wonderful food and stunning decorations. The staff is commended for their assistance with wheelchairs. However, guests may want to opt for being served at dinner if they prefer. Best of luck with the upcoming renovations!
