We LOVED it here! The Breakfast is amazing! They have the best French toast i have ever had! And the coffee is really good here. The service is great, very friendly waitress, on top of refills and anything we needed. Very kod friendly. The portions are generous. We will definitely come here again when we visit Afton.Kid-friendliness: Came in with 3 hungry loud kids. The waitress was very nice, and found things to accommodate my toddlers needs

Had good time at bar two nites in a row but mostly cuz of patrons vs bartenders. One gal extremely cranky with rude comments about items not available on menu & how it would affect her tips etc. Her attitude affected tips more than items not available. Other two much better. Nice place with comfortable bar stools & good tunes available to play. Not a bad place, if you can ignore the one cranky old gal & if servers & bartenders stopped chatting with other employees & paid attention to customers.

No one was even upfront to greet us, only to find out they were closed.

We made the trip from Idaho Falls just for a one night getaway to stay in a hotel with a restaurant downstairs and bar. We really enjoyed the room, super nicely decorated. We were disappointed to see the restaurant downstairs and breakfast in the morning were both closed via a note on the door (a website or booking notification would have been nice) it kind of ruined the whole purpose of the trip, since we had to eat elsewhere for everything. We did enjoy the bar that evening, although the service could have been better. Would probably try this place again since other than the closures, we enjoyed the facility. Overall would have been a great value!

Tried to stop in twice in 3 days. We were the second couple in line with the restaurant looking fairly open, but a 10-20 minute wait so left Sunday morning. Stopped in to the steakhouse at 5:00 pm Tuesday, but no one to be seen. New owners? Good luck.

My brother and I came in after a day of fishing, sat down and ordered 2 sandwiches and a one trip salad bar. There were only a few people in there when we first got there and were told by our waitress that this was her first night... ok. After we had got and ate our salads two other groups came in and sat close to us. One group of four ordered steaks and the other group, a couple ordered chicken fried steaks. At about the half hour mark I stared wondering what was taking so long and then I noticed the other waitress that had been helping the new girl was gone.. nowhere to be seen! Then the two other groups that came in after us by 20 or more minutes and ordered steaks and chicken fried steaks got served their meals, this was at about the 50 minute mark I asked what was taking so long and was assured ours was on it's way....another 10 minutes and finally we were severed. The French dip I ordered looked like they went and got it from Arby's. The meat was dry and not what I would expect for a "Cowboy Dip". I took my sandwich up to the counter and asked to talk to the manager/cook, and said "I waited an hour for this while the other tables around us were all served steaks they ordered after us"... He shrugged his shoulders and said SO!! Had we not had the salad we would have left before... Local with a bad attitude and just don't care. paid bill, left new girl her tip... won't be back... terrible service!

New owners. Hit and miss on breakfast quality. Friendly staff , on the ball bringing you what you need and ask.

The worst experience at a restaurant. Several people in the group felt this way. It is too bad because this historical place is so beautiful inside. The food is awful. Burgers are overcooked, fries taste like they are from last week. We asked for more fries as they weren't edible. The new fries were honestly slightly better but still I only ate a couple as I needed something for food. Others had steak, not good. Anyways, I wish we read the reviews before stopping at this cool historic spot.

Filthy restaurant with cooks coughing in the back. Limited menu, they were even out of fries. Booths shredded and falling apart, if the dining room looked this bad I'm terrified to see the kitchen. Wait staff was standing around talking instead of even attempting to clean. Poor management.
