Once of best meals I had. This place is dated, but you should already understand that when you patronize. That's part of the theme here. The prime rib was perfect and the service was friendly and attentive. We had breakfast here the next day and the eggs Benedict was on point. I hope this place never changes.

Came here while staying in town. They decorate it really well and it is a beautiful building that's well maintained and is cared for. Food was pretty excellent. Their steak is great quality and was grilled to perfection. Salad bar was decent and had a great variety of toppings and dressing options. Staff is also very kind and we felt the wait times were very reasonable. Would come again.

Honestly. This is one of the coolest restaurants historically. Get the buffet if possible and sit at the bar.
This place is not well managed and understaffed. It is considerate to warn of a slow kitchen staff and suggest other options. They are not good at communicating or waiting tables.
Being buffalo bill oriented is amazing with all of the memorabilia. It is like a museum.
Maybe if the management and staff upgrades it will be a better atmosphere.

The most important thing first, the food was great. All the beef dishes were cooked just as we ordered. My prime rib was great, full of a strong beef flavor, and those that ordered the prime rib gave rave reviews. Service was fast and attentive. We also got to try Sarsaparilla for the first time and we discovered a new drink we all like. It in every out this way again, I will be stopping in.

Love the food and atmosphere. Step back in time the second you walk in. What a treasure! Service was great! Coffee stayed full and waitress was attentive. Pancakes were some of the best I've had. Melt in your mouth but crispy on the edges.

The waitress had too many large tables to give proper service. I was there 2 years ago. Then, the Chicken Pot Pie was one to remember. Now it consists of the creamy filling but the chicken and vegetables are missing. I'll probably skip Irma's next trip.

Always a treat while in Cody to visit the historic Irma hotel. Make sure you wander around to see all the neat old stuff!

A friendly welcome, great ambiance. Varied menu choices and time was given to make our choices.
We both opted for the prime rib, not something I would usually choose but a regular order for my husband! This included one choice of side and soup or a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar was not huge but it was tasty, and the plates were a decent size . The prime rib was very good although the fries were not to my liking, and husbands choice of vegetables was carrots which certainly looked as though they were prepacked and not house prepared.
There was plenty of time to absorb the atmosphere and relax between courses. (Some would say service was slow but it was nice not to to be rushed in my opinion)

Eggs Benedict came with eggs poached hard (!) and Hollandaise Sauce made from a powder. Fascinating.

Just had a fantastic experience at the Historical Irma Restaurant. Great historic place. We had the Filet and Salmon, done to perfection. Our Waitress Brook was simply one of the best we’ve had. Bartender poured a more than honest double Woodford. My only regret is I don’t live here to make this a regular stop.

The Irma catered my wedding on September 13, 2025. Kelly (head chef) and wait staff went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations to feed 200+ guests at my wedding. They were absolutely wonderful! Both Kelly and Dar kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and were able to accommodate special food requests for us. The food was AMAZING and was still warm and fresh at my outdoor reception. The Irma provided everything - from cutlery to plates and napkins! If you have an event coming up, don’t hesitate with Irma as your caterer!

Very cool restaurant with good food and good service. It gets very busy, even on a Monday night but seating it generally quick.
