“Food was homemade and very fresh. Stopped in while passing through the other day and liked it so much we stopped in again as we were headed home. I can’t remember the last time I had Chinese food this good. Each dish was made to order. If you ask for it spicy it will be spicy. The options are level 1 - 10. 5 was perfect for me. Anything above that is for the adventurous! It is very authentic!”

“If anyone told me this truckstop fried chicken was as good as it is I would probably not have believed them but I’m going to tell you. This is the best fried chicken I’ve had since some friends took me out to a famous restaurant in Washington DC. I’m literally blown away by this fried chicken. The white meat breast was incredibly juicy and moist. I don’t know when I’ll be coming down this road again but when I do I’m pulling over to get a bucket of it.”

“They take such good care of me. They know my drink by heart they’ve begun to recognize my vehicle on my face and when I see them out and they all say hi. I try really hard to order on the app and I when I can’t they literally put a sticker on my drink that says Whitney’s chai. I wish all their shops had the açai bowl but I understand why they don’t.”

“Prime rib was really good. My wife always eats a filet but to our astonishment this restaurant doesn’t even offer a filet. We asked our waitress and she said she didn’t know what that even was. IMO the Derby is missing some sales on this item. Food was slow in arriving but good when it did arrive. They were busy so that could explain the delay. We are from Mississippi but are in Wyoming every year from early August to late October. We will eat here again.”

What really got me was not being made to feel unwelcome or out of place. The staff was friendly and the customers were friendly. Some kind soul picked up my check. It sent me into tears. It wasn’t the money as much as it was the kindness.
Any sort of genuine kindness has been rare for me, and whoever you are that did that..you healed a piece of me that was losing hope. Thank you for your empathy and compassion. Thank you for your kindness. I would have tried to figure out who you were to tell you myself, but I was fighting off tears. ❤️‍🩹”
