Prime rib was really good. My wife always eats a filet but to our astonishment this restaurant doesn’t even offer a filet. We asked our waitress and she said she didn’t know what that even was. IMO the Derby is missing some sales on this item. Food was slow in arriving but good when it did arrive. They were busy so that could explain the delay. We are from Mississippi but are in Wyoming every year from early August to late October. We will eat here again.
Beautiful building for starters, gambling was pretty good for others around me but no dice for me this time! However staff was very polite and always made sure you had plenty to drink rather it was a beer or a water. Recommend stopping by and checking it out!!
We stopped today. Our waitress was the best. The food was so delicious! Every item we ordered was so good! We will definitely go again!!!

The Derby Club Gaming Parlor offers a mixed dining experience. The food is generally praised as good, with items like prime rib being particularly well-received, and the ribeye was WONDERFUL. Waitresses are very nice and very quick to see if you need anything, and the staff is nice and attentive. The building is beautiful and it is in a very nice location. However, the restaurant struggles with consistency. Delays in food service and issues with the kitchen's ability to properly cook items like salmon and burgers have been reported. The gambling portion is ridiculous, with odds that are complete crap.
