Pedro’s Cantina Sports Bar & Grill

Went there on New Years Eve The Bar Owner is very stuck up and only serves those who pay him under the table. I sat at the bar and tried to order a drink for 30 min while he would help those who would come up and slip him money to serve them. He had 1 other bar tender working with him and she was slammed trying to help all the others that he wouldn't serve, felt really bad for her. Could be a really nice place but this is the 2nd time this has happened to me there.

It was really good! The food was awesome. My only complaint, which is rather miniscule, was that they added all of our stuff onto one bill. I had some friends with me. Not a big deal at all, we just did some zelle transfers and balanced it out. It was a good time, regardless! We will definitely stop there again on our next pass through and our camping trips.

I absolutely love this Mexican restaurant and sports bar! The food is incredibly tasty, with fresh ingredients that make each dish a delight. The beer on tap is also top-notch and adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making your visit even more pleasant. Inside, you’ll find convenient amenities like an ATM and casino automat machines, providing entertainment options. There are also dartboards and billiards to keep you entertained. Plus, the prices are very budget-friendly. One extra perk I love is that they also provide a snack when you order a beer. I’m genuinely excited about this place; it’s a fantastic spot for a great meal, a fun time, and a little extra treat with your drinks!

I am in town for 6 nights, and we've eaten at this restaurant twice. The food was excellent each time, well priced, nice atmosphere. It was recommended to us by a couple of local friends, and we were very happy with the recommendation. Can't go wrong going here.

Don Pedros bar is always clean and has the best bartenders. Food services are great and quick in the bar as well. Love going and shooting pool here easy going.

My husband and I had vegetable fajita and enchiladas. The vegetables, for the fajitas were the exact same as for the enchiladas, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, carrots. I’ve never had any of those vegetables in a Mexican restaurant before, most definitely not in a fajita! Where are the peppers? The onions? And the sauce! These were made from vegetables, then freshly dumped out of a bag, and steamed. There was no seasoning nor sauce on those vegetables. It was surprising to see the least. And when asked about it, the waitress insured us that the vegetables were fresh, and that everyone makes their food different. Well they certainly do but I don Pedros! ?

Amazing staff and atmosphere. The carne asada melts in your mouth! The waitress was so friendly and attentive and the owner even stopped by to make sure everything was going okay. The best option for dining in Evanston

Awesome place ????

Showed up at closing so went to the connected cantina next door. The bartender went next door and had them stay open for us and we ate at the bar. The food and service were great.
