This bar may be the most friendly in all of town. Forget Kate's... that place sucks. Think more about Spanky's to have a good time, a good conversation, and good company. Basically... the opposite of Kate's.
(Disclaimer: written by Doug's wife) We stopped in around 4:30 pm on a weekday afternoon. Out of town visitors. Friendly bartender and locals. Hubby had a beer while I enjoyed a couple of dirty vodka martinis. Shaken, briny excellent, with huge olives. Typical small town bar appearance from the outside. Indoors very clean and inviting. Well poured for a reasonable price. Stop in!

The owner Marsha is a total sweetheart and a total badass, you should totally come here if you're a local or traveling the 80! Great spot! She even let me bring my pet tiger inside, fed her problem customers to tigger, and hot damn I love this bar!
