I ordered a 8oz top sirloin and coconut shrimp with mashed and potato soup as my sides. The mashed was flavorless as was the steak which was also Luke warm and tough and the last 2 inches of the steak had a ligament so big I couldn't cut through it. The shrimp tasted funny and when I got my check the prices didn't add up to what's advertised on the menu. Outback Steakhouse in Casper offers a varied dining experience with amazing service and really, really fresh salad. The hand breaded chicken strips are pretty darn special. While some customers have reported disappointing meals, including a tough steak and flavorless mashed potatoes, others have praised the fantastic food, such as an amazing lobster tail, delicious ribs and steak, and a fantastic shrimp appetizer. The service quality has also been inconsistent, with one customer feeling their concerns were not properly addressed. However, some customers have had an amazing experience. The restaurant is often busy, and while the food and service can be hit-or-miss, the overall atmosphere allows for comfortable conversation. It is not a brand new restaurant but it is still kept up decently. Customers are advised to enter from Murdochs around back.
