Based on the reviews, Lula Belle Cafe is a cozy, family-owned diner in Gillette, Wyoming. The atmosphere is comfortable, homey, and has a ‘hometown’ feel. The service is super friendly, like being at a favorite aunt’s home. The food is excellent and to die for, with plain food well-cooked. Specific meals mentioned include a green chili burrito, biscuits and gravy with a ham slice, over medium eggs and hash browns with the best bacon ever. Do not miss the pie, especially the strawberry rhubarb with big chunks of fruit and a nice homemade crust. The prices are extremely reasonable. The restaurant is a great stop for breakfast or lunch, and definitely worth the detour. However, the bathroom is inaccessible for mobility-impaired guests due to a steep staircase.
