I read the reviews for this place and was a little nervous about coming. I don’t know if things have changed, but after many visits to this location, it’s my favorite, and I tried most of the coffee shops around. Delicious food and espresso are served here, but the customer service sets it apart. I always leave here way more upbeat and happy, and that’s not the caffeine. The baristas are so cool and make this place homey. I like hanging out here, and you will too. Get a foamy cappuccino and the green chili dip (such flavor!) or the pesto turkey panini. 😋 Pastry is also yummy.

I normally don't like to give poor reviews but this wasn't great. I just wanted a spiced chai to go, and the spiced chai's I've had from the downtown location are usually great. But the chai that the gentleman gave me was lukewarm at best, had very little chai flavor, and no spice at all. The girl who rang me out was nice but service felt so-so overall. Coal Creek isn't the cheapest option by far but I usually don't mind because the food and drink is worth it but not this time around or if uptown is that much different
I love this coffee shop. Just passing through Laramie and I’m so happy I stopped here. Delicious vanilla cappuccino

I was in Laramie for the football game and walked to this Coal Creek Coffee near the campus. Evidently, there's another location downtown. Keeping it simple, this particular location and the employees here need to try a little harder.

We were visiting from out of town and I was excited to try a local coffee shop especially since it was within walking distance of our hotel. I didn’t get the chance to try anything because of the young lady working 9/9/24 in the morning. Rather than welcoming us in she looked at us rather pissed that we came in shortly after opening. We decided to try a friendlier coffee shop instead.
Was ok,nothing outstanding, think I will stick with Starbucks for their very predictable results. Never know what you will get at these places or how it will taste.

Do not like this place. The coffees are small, expensive and tasteless and the owner is a big jerk.

Waitress was very rude and unfriendly. It was dirty looking inside. Coffee is weak and not flavorful. I got the Carmel latte and it’s not flavorful at all.

Very nice, quiet atmosphere. Coffee is very good, impeccable service, professional and very polite staff. Coffee is served in fancy cups. I'm not a local, but I hope to come back.

Inattentive, rude, snarky, self-righteous... and slow.

I was disappointed during my recent visit to this location. I ordered a pretzel expecting it to be served with salt and butter as it is at the downtown location, but it was not. Additionally, I found the service to be lacking; the staff at the cash register did not meet the friendly standards I've experienced previously. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration to improve the quality of both the product and customer service.
