Soooo good! Great food and great prices! My cousin brought us in when we came home to visit. I grew up eating at El Conquistador in this building, and was heartbroken when it closed. It was so fun to come in and eat some more good Mexican food in a place full of great memories. Thank you!
My all time favorite place for dinner!
To say we are excited about this place is an understatement. They made big moves this year and it shows. The love they poured into their new downtown location is unreal, it's beautiful. Plus I can now pair my favorite Laramie Mexican food with a dang good margarita. 🌮🌯🍹 Our go-to foods here- Asada Fries, Steak Ranchero (as pictured), the bacon breakfast burrito, the California burrito, the salsa bar and now a margarita on the rocks!

Almanza's Authentic Mexican Restaurant offers delicious and generously portioned food at reasonable prices in a casual environment. Known for their fresh and hot meals, they have a friendly staff. Customers praise the quick service. Popular items include the Sunday Menudo, Almanza's cheese dip, and the top-notch Chilie Relleno Burrito. Vegetarian options are available. The restaurant is a great spot for anyone visiting Laramie and is open late. This place is the sweet siren song that pulls customers inside for very good Mexican food made by real Mexicans. They have a free salsa bar with about 10 salsas to try. Generous portions filled me up. Stopped in for a chimichanga and a margarita. Parking is available, but it can be tough during peak hours. However, many agree that the short walk is well worth it. Families will find plenty of kid-friendly options.
