“This was our first time to dine at Calico and we were delighted. The food was both innovative and well-executed ((Try the Crispy Eggplant and the Watermelon Salad!) and the outdoor seating atmosphere was beautiful; overlooking a large shaded lawn where families with children were dining and playing. But it was the restaurant staff that made our experience so enjoyable. The reception staff were literally herding cats to juggle people with reservations, walk-ins like us, and people placing/picking up to-go orders. And our server (Scott-a transplant from Maryland) was very knowledgeable and willing to patiently answer our myriad of questions about the menu items. EVERYthing in the Jackson Hole area is more expensive than it really should be...Calico was actually worth it, in our experience.“
