Had the chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns. It was great. Tried to get the bigger portion of chicken fried steak that comes with the dinner but the waitress was not sure how to price it out so I had to go with the smaller 4oz. Ordered sausage to compensate. Turns out the smaller one would have been plenty. It was very good and I highly recommend.
The service was very friendly and efficient. Our salads came quickly and were VERY good; crisp, cold lettuce (I happen to like iceberg) with very fresh tasting tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots and just enough shredded cheddar cheese to add interest but not dominate. Our rib-eye steaks and baked potatoes came immediately after we’d finished our salads. Sure enjoyed the family friendliness of our waitress. She made the experience wonderful. My food was very good. My wife was not happy with her breakfast and did not eat most of it. The atmosphere was very comfortable.
