“The best burger on the i80! If you're a hungry boy or gal, let me tell ya, the hangover burger is where IT. IS. AT.Eggs, & HASHBROWNS.. for dinner. I think heck YES.Fair warning ⚠️ this big juicy burger is not for the weak. If you can't handle a monstrous amount of delicious, get a kids burger.“
“Very nice and clean bar, no smoking except outside where you can't take your beer or drink, it's everything you could ask for in a bar, jukebox, pool tables, fashionably updated and clean, friendly servers, there is just no food here it's a bar only, and a smoke room would be nice but that's my preference, and there is very limited parking in the back, but as a bar only I would recommend it !“
“A great place to stop by for food if you're driving on I-80. The place is popular and the food is great. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, and it was really delicious. Also the service was great and the gentleman who took and brought my order was very nice. Highly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant“
“Called ahead for some pizza and a sandwich wile we were on the road so that we could sit down and eat quickly. They were quick and the food was delicious. We were able to sit down and eat and get back on the road in less than a half hour! Thanks to the staff who were kind and efficient!“
“I wish I could give it a 10 star rating. The staff could not be more attentive. The barman really went out of his way to cook burgers, porkchops, fries, a baked potato, and a grilled ham & cheese for hungry cyclists. We played rounds of pool in the meantime while he cooked our food to order. Guys from Peru put some good music on the jukebox. Best food & drink experience in the state of Wyoming. Will return.“
“Back in the 70's and 80's it was where roughnecks would hire out to work on the oil rigs. Convicts fresh out of prison could and did, easily hire out for good money back then. If you look to the right when you walk in the door, there's a deer head up high about half way into the bar. There's a 357 hole in it's neck that you can't see but if you look close, the log immediately above the deer sports a hole. That is where the bullet landed. I was there and it was a crowded bar and it wasn't a missed shot. We (it was Chris who squeezed the trigger) almost got us thrown out that night. Carl, the bartender back then had been shot 5 times in his life but didn't like to count 2 of them because they were from his wife. If you refused to leave at closing time, his wife would come in and physically pick your drunk a$$ up and throw you out. There used (don't know if its still there) to be a life sized moving/ galloping wooden cowboy on a horse atop the Rawlins coral clothing store to your left when you walk out the door. There were plenty of holes in that too. They used to keep a bucket and mop behind the bar for the blood from fights. Pool there used to be a very dangerous sport. I still have a beer there when I occasionally pass through but its not the same, thankfully for this old man.“
“Just go there! Now! And often! They are fantastic, friendly, inviting, all around great people! Went there while on vacation a few years ago, then was in the area this year and went out of our way to visit there again! It did not disappoint! It was as good as we remembered! If you live near Rawlins it should be your go-to saloon!“
