Saratoga Hot Springs Resort Reviews
Disappointing experience due to poor communication and service
We drove three hours from Colorado for our stay and were surprised to arrive and learn that Saratoga Hot Springs had been closed for the holidays, with reopening not until 3:00 pm. We were not informed of this in advance, which was especially frustrating given the long drive and the fact that this property is very remote, with little to do other than visit the hot springs.

We got engaged here and it’s been our home away from home ever since. From the front desk to the spa, everyone is so welcoming and just wonderful!
This place is nice. The staff genuine and helpful. Room was nice but small. BUT the bed was so uncomfortable, woke up with back pain due to the mattress. we would have been better off sleeping on the floor. If you've ever slept on a waterbed you know what I'm talking about.
I would visit again but not stay the night.

Saratoga Hot Springs Resort offers a charming setting with architecture inspired by the old west and Native American culture. The resort features a well-equipped exercise room and beautifully updated bathrooms. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are eager to help. The hot springs pool is a highlight, especially for kids, although some guests may prefer the adults-only pools for more privacy. The on-site restaurant serves decent food at a higher price point, and the nearby brewery provides a great selection, including the popular Saratoga Wit. Guests have enjoyed delicious food at the brewery, and the staff there is especially friendly. The resort grounds are stunning, and the surrounding area offers excellent recreational activities. While amenities like refrigerators and microwaves might be missing, the stellar service and beautiful environment make this a memorable place to visit. Guests also appreciate the rustic rooms, with some mentioning the beds are very comfortable, helping ensure a good night's sleep. The pools, including heated pools and private hot tubs, create a relaxing atmosphere, and breakfast options are included, adding to the overall enjoyment of this hot spring destination. However, some reviews note that the rooms are old and not very well maintained, with noise issues and uncomfortable lighting setups. The pool can get dirty with frequent use, but the hot tubs remain private and cleaner. The nearby brewery and pub, run by friendly staff like Jordan, offers good food and a welcoming experience. Despite the lovely environment and helpful staff, some guests feel that the overall value does not meet expectations for the price paid.
