Casper Restaurant, located on the mountain, offers a nice setting for a break during skiing. It can get crowded and noisy, but tables are available. The atmosphere is cozy and staff are friendly.
The food is pretty good, though it is on the expensive side, as is common in ski resorts. Some value can be found in the fries, pretzel, or chili. A hamburger is priced at $15. While there is no espresso, there is a good bar and a roaring fireplace.
Families are welcome, and kids have options such as chili and fruit. The shrimp po boys with special sauce were a hit with some. Bathrooms are located downstairs, which can be challenging in ski boots.
