“On the last day of our trip to Jackson Hole, we randomly went to this restaurant before heading to the airport and it was genuinely the BEST breakfast we had there....maybe even EVER. If you go for their brunch menu you have to get the Salmon Benedict! It will knock your socks off ugh so good. The service itself was amazing as well. The waiter and the manager were so friendly and we talked with them for awhile after finishing up our brunch. 10000/10 recommend this restaurant!”

“We had a great time at the Mangy Moose! From the great reception at the checkin desk to when we left, everyone was so nice and helpful. Our server Mel was great and very helpful with our dinner choices. My husband had the red wine short ribs and I had the butter bean ragout! Everything was so yummy. We would definitely go back.”

“Employees and the manager are all great and live up to what you'd expect at a Four Seasons establishment. The manager went out of her way to procure ingredients for a special drink request. The food was also very good. The popcorn chicken tasted like jidori chicken as they were very, very juicy. Wagyu rice bowl was split into two since we were sharing which we appreciated. Nuts and chips with your cocktails were very good. Overall excellent spot. If I had one gripe it would be the cocktails are quite expensive at $27 each (before tax and tip).”

“Overall it has been a positive experience. Check-in: I arrived after check in time. Staff is always friendly. Leo checked me in on my first visit. Second visit I saw him and he recalled our conversation from the time before. They are dog friendly which is a plus in my book. Room: first experience was fantastic, the room had a wet bar, real plates, silverware, fridge and microwave. On my second stay there was not the above accommodations. However, I called and a fridge and microwave were brought to my room. All rooms seem to have some type of balcony which is nice. I will ask for the first room when I visit again. House Keeping: is every three days you can ask for additional housekeeping if needed. We had them come our second night and remove our trash. Easy call to the front desk. Restaurant: Food is excellent. Try the stracciatella it is out of this world and the beef short ribs melt in your mouth. We enjoyed cocktails during our dining as well. Josiah was wonderful and ensured we were accommodated because we had our pup and did a phenomenal job making us feel welcome, Debbie provided excellent service and Mike the manager stopped by to chat for a while. We visited the restaurant twice on our visit. The second visit we called down prior to coming and when we arrived, our table was set for us and dog water in all.”

“We throughly enjoyed our meal here. The view was amazing and it was such a welcomed change from the overwhelming and crowded restaurants in downtown Jackson Hole. If you love mushrooms then make sure to order the side of Morning Dew Mushrooms. I'm still thinking about them!”

“I cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had while hosting our wedding dinner at Osteria. The food was AMAZING, all of our guests are still raving about the pasta, pizza, bruschetta, the meatballs, and cupcakes. The entire experience from setting up our special day via zoom calls and emails, setting up menus from halfway across the country (including custom cupcakes!) to the service the day of… I would recommend them to anyone. The managers and wait staff were waiting on us like we were royalty and seemed to know what we needed even before we asked for it. Everyone was so so kind. I hope that anyone who is planning a micro wedding or elopement in Jackson or the Tetons sees this review and chooses this beautiful restaurant as their spot. Thank you Osteria staff from the bottom of our hearts for making our day everything we could have asked for and more!”

“We were really pleased with this place. The food was fantastic. We had the fried wontons, garlic green beans, and spicy 🌶 fried rice with protein. It did not disappoint! Service was good, atmosphere cozy. There is outdoor seating also. We would go again!”

“Had possibly the best steak I have had in a year or more. We started the meal with an Heirloom Tomato Salad with some other berries in a vinegar and olive oil dressing with Burrata and also a plate of Roasted King Crab Legs. Yes roasted and delicious and maybe the way I need to always eat them going forward. For the main course my wife had the 4 oz Snake River Farms Wagyu and I had the 10 oz NY Strip from the same source. You can order an entire flight of sauces to put on it, all very delicious but honestly I could not bring myself to use any except for a little taste. The steak was perfection and any sauce would have been an adulteration of a perfect piece of meat. The sides were also terrific. We ordered the Roasted Maple Glazed Carrots and the Wild Greens with a Garlic Cream Sauce. Both were fantastic. We found a great bottle of 2014 Chateau Pontet-Canet on a pretty nice wine list. For dessert we had S'Mores we cooked right at the table. The most fun and possibly at the same time the messiest dessert I've ever ordered. We also split a dessert drink called the Black Spur using Clase Azul and Amaro and other good stuff which was fantastic. There was nothing about the dinner that was not top notch. What a pleasure it was to find this place while hiking in Grand Teton NP. If you're in Teton or Jackson for summer or winter fun stop in at this place. You won't regret it.”

“We dined at Local on 01/09/2026 and it was amazing. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions and making recommendations. We ordered the Caesar salad, the 18oz bison steak to split, mashed potatoes and a chocolate torte. Everything was delicious and we would definitely recommend.”

“Delectable food and really stellar service! We enjoyed so many of the options on the menu with a favorite being the blue cheese french fries and the blt soup. More notable, the server was so friendly and kind, which seemed uncommon in our experience in Jackson. One of the plate runners was sarcastic and rude to us (I guess she thought we ordered too much) which was a bummer but the rest of the staff were warm and friendly.”

“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! The food was EXCELLENT. I had their shrimp dish and wow, the shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Their rice was nice but the star for us was the pita bread basket. Get it, trust me. The pita was light and fluffy, better than any store bought version I had ever tried. We also tried their green bean dish which I highly recommend. We enjoyed this place enough we went back a second time on our trip. The staff was kind and quick. The atmosphere was nice, it's a small place so you may want reservations for later dinners or large groups.”

“So good! We came here with our four younger kids after hiking all day in the Tetons. It is our last day in town so I’m thankful for a fun experience that made our last big dinner on vacation memorable. Sebastian was an amazing server, kind, and kept our waters filled because we were so thirsty and the local cuisine was outstanding. My 8 year old son literally said it was the burger of his dreams (off the kids menu). Rainbow trout, amazing. Bison brisket, divine. Even down to the micro greens they used for flavor (perfect pairing) and kimchi for added spice that was not overpowering. Atmosphere was wonderful and customer service was outstanding, honoring a coupon that we ended up not really qualifying for. So it really meant a lot to us with having four kids and a pricy menu! Fantastic!”

“After spending some time in the Museum went to Palate for lunch before getting back on the road. Great setup with both inside and outside seating. There was live music outside by a guy on guitar . Our inside seats were right by the window so great view of the valley and hills beyond. Their were even smart enough to full mirrors on the back wall so if you were facing away from the windows you could still see out via the mirrors. Foods was great with some very interesting choices on the menu. I had Bison Gyros.”
