Our group thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Piste. The food was delicious, and service was excellent. My only complaint was that we had difficulty resolving an issue using Open Table to modify our reservation. I resolved that by dealing directly with the restaurant.
What makes the Piste is the dining experience. At the top of the gondola with stunning views, it is spectacular. And watching the snow cats dance is so fun. The food was a bit inconsistent - the ribs were overcooked and the chocolate dessert was uninspiring. Cocktails were fun but very expensive. Staff was friendly and fun.
Dining at the Piste Mountain Bistro was an outstanding experience. The food was fabulous, the view was stunning and the service provided by Matt was as polished and professional as it was warm and friendly.
Wonderful aprés lunch with a view. Beautiful ski day capped by great food and outstanding service!
I've eaten here at least 150 times; it's consistently good.... All food experiences were excellent - cooked and seasoned perfectly. I'll return promptly.
Loved this lunch experience so much we came back twice during our time on the mountain. Great food, good quality service and a fabulous vibe.
Nice to sit down for lunch during a ski day. However, nowhere to hang coats nor were there cubbies for helmets/goggles. That would have improved the experience. The menu concept has changed since last year. Heavier and more casual fare in general. However I was able to order a side of salmon to go with my soup. Salmon was lukewarm at best. It must have been sitting for a while. Soup recipe needs some work. The food came out slowly. I'm trying to figure out a word to describe the service. Our waiter asked the right questions but he “phoned it in”. So, the service was existent but dispassionate. Pricing was fine for a waiter-served meal on the slopes. I would skip Piste and eat the cafeteria style food upstairs, grab a slice at the walk up counter, or make a reservation for a restaurant at the bottom of the hill.
I eat here every year when we come skiing in Jackson. This year the food was not as good as prior years. All three of us thought our meals were just ok. Maybe it was an off day?
Great spot on top of the mountain at 9000+ feet to take a break and have lunch. Reservations are highly recommended. The burger was excellent. I really enjoyed the Rueben too! Service was great too!
Made my way up here with some buddies. Got some delicious beer to enjoy the views. Definitely a nice little place to visit; prices were all little high though.
Looked like the place could be good for climbing rentals and more.

This was our seventh or eighth visit and the food remains superb and the service outstanding. Regarding the latter, our waiter, Matt, was very attuned to our needs. The scenery is breathtaking.
Piste was amazing as always. Great service. Wonderful views. The experience of riding the gondola up and then down at night is truly magical. Thank you staff for a wonderful and delicious adventure.
We had the pleasure of visiting the Restaurant on our most recent trip to Jackson Hole. Tisha, the general manager of the restaurant was great and made sure we had a fantastic table. The views are just what you would expect halfway up the mountain. Spectacular !!! The ride up the gondola really makes it super fun and if you've not been there before, it is absolutely a place you should visit. The food quality was high, and excellent. The service was very good as well. Definitely a win-win !
The views from up there are beautiful. The food was the best we had while visiting the area without a doubt. We had the cheese and salami board for appetizer. It had pickled vegetables, cheese, crackers, jam and salami. Two people had the halibut with beet risotto which they raved about. One had the mushroom dish which they loved and I had the salad with the roasted plums and the tomatillo soup. Both excellent. Service is amazing.
We ordered 2 entrees. The bison filet and the New York strip. The coffee rub on the bison was very tasty and the bison was very tender. It was served with a blue cheese apple dumpling which I loved. I'm a blue cheese fan! The fried Brussels sprouts were to my liking. The strip was not as tender but still tasty. The chimichurri and mashed potatoes were quite good. We would definitely dine here again. Views from the mountain top were wonderful and gondola ride free with dinner reservations. If you don't want to be dedicated to dinner do the night gondola and 2 for 1 drinks at the Piste Market.
