Came here for lunch mid week, and it was empty, so with no wait time, I had the most excellent service. Ordered their signature smoked mac n cheese and a smoked pulled pork sandwich.The mac n cheese was incredibly creamy with a nice smokey hint to it, making it the most impressive mac n cheese in the region!The pulled pork sandwich was cooked perfectly and served hot with pickled onions and slaw. The staff is friendly and you can tell they enjoy cooking great food. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. You can smell their smoker from 100 yards, and it is absolutely mouth-watering.

We stopped by the location in Afton. Didn't really expect much when you look at the place. The BBQ was WOW good. I had the pulled pork with pickled onions and some great pickles. Added the Sweet and Spicy sauce which was great. Wife had the Smoked Turkey Quesadilla which was good. We both had their Baked Beans and they were awesome. I'm pretty particular on my BBQ but this was a great surprising stop on our trip. Great job.

We absolutely love 225 BBQ. The people are friendly, and the food is easily the best BBQ we've ever eaten - and we come here often. Yum! I usually get the brisket. My son loves the pickled onions, and we all love the white BBQ sauce. Another favorite is the smoked mac and cheese. And you can never go wrong with the baked beans. Such. Good. Food.

Good BBQ for the area. Workers behind the counter had no interest in taking care of customers this evening. Four of us ordered to dine in and there was a 20 minute lag from the first of us getting our food until the last. Other customers that came in were "greeted" with how much longer the place was open and a long list of what they were out of. Saw at least 6 potential customers leave without ordering.Place was crazy hot inside with the normal outside tables and chairs AWOL. Noticed an a/c system on the wall but they were either too cheap to turn it on or it was broken.

My family stopped in on our travels. We loved the brisket and the beans. The white bbq sauce was to die for. We didn’t love the Mac and cheese-just not our thing with the smoked flavor but definitely had plenty of flavor. The ribs were just ok for us. Would stop in again if we find ourselves out that way.

WOW!!! We were sight seeing yesterday and decided to stop at a restaurant for lunch. It had been awhile since we had BBQ and so we decided to stop here. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! We both had prime rib sandwiches which were listed as specials on their menu. It had to have been some of the most tender prime rib sandwiches we've ever eaten. It just melted in your mouth. We also opted for the smoked mac and cheese as our side dish. It too was outstanding. They even allowed me to order (and charged very little) for a small bowl of brisket meat for our dog. He loved it. We loved this place so much that I asked if they sold meat by the pound to go and they did so I purchased a pound of their brisket and a pound of their pulled pork to take back to our motorcoach. Oh, and I also purchased a jar of jalapeno jam. They have a local someone that makes all different kinds of jams and sells it there. What a wonderful place. If I lived here, I'd be there all the time.
